That is ONLY because of the C&D circus and such against the reviewers.
I must have watched a different video...
This had a lot to do with the dislike for it. You would expect that kind of machine residue from Chinese clones and I have not seen anything from China that dirty. This is from a $140 American made rda.

@TrollDragon I have no interest in giving them my money ever. And at their prices they probably aren't selling tons of those - especially when you factor in the final say in vape purchases - RipTripper himself - didn't describe it as "the best rda to date"

With the way you drilled the top cap, it will provide a nice air swirl around the coil I would imagine, enhancing the flavor/vapor production.
You know the times when a idea works way better than you thought it would. This is one of those times. I wish I could let y'all try this.

I wanted to get air hitting the coil on three sides, all with the same bore and keep it leak free unless turned upside down.

The flavor is intense and warm at 14W.

The nic buzz is wearing off finally

In the future, might be wise to experiment with zero nic. Just sayin :D

I don't understand all the massive power people need these days, this is a Kayfun 3.1 with a drilled out center pin and air hole...

Because I am running a dual pair of macro Clapton's.
Been there, done that. Now cut it back to around 60 to 70 watts and see how much better the flavor is.
Both of these refuse to fire with any vapor at below 80 watts the Clapton's don't make good flavor until 115 ish and it gets better with more heat. Like lots more heat.

When I did those quad coils the other day and vaped it at 200 watts, it was flavor overload. Even after sipping a drink I was still tasting it ten minutes later because it was way too much. The flavor not only saturated but was over powering. Once i turned it down, think I went as low as 50 watts, it was a much more enjoyable vape and still had huge clouds.

Good morning all yall Mod Wompers. I sure hope today is a better vaping day then yesterday. One of my IPV4's got knocked off the coffee table and the cover flew off it. Looked for hours and could not find it until the missus got home. Then it fell out of my pocket last night and shattered the STM glass. :(

Like I said... you need a STEEL tank. :D (or titanium) ;)

Did you put a solid center pin in to stop leaking out the bottom?
Nope stock base. Only the top cap is modified.

It won't leak out the bottom unless you fill it above the air port which is almost even with the top of the ring.

The coil sits up in the cutout in the top cap.

Edit: I just measured, the top of the coil to the bottom of the drip-tip is 4mm.

Watching a Smok TFV4 review right now...seems like a cool tank but emptying it in under an hour would make vaping way too expensive for me. It would be cool to have one and vape it from time to time but I couldn't run that thing all the time I'd be selling organs to afford juice.
