The dark horse was the only RDA I could find with tall enough posts to build dual stovetop coils in and not be in super sub ohm range, it easily holds a 1 ohm 24 gauge stovetop..... So two of those for .5

I really have to try a stovetop coil. Now are yours spaced, touching or clapton? I take it you use 24g as it is stiffer and easier to roll and mount. I could do with a picture of it in the Dark Horse if you get a chance.

That's my normal stovetop build.

I have done a Clapton version, it works pretty nicely

Ahh.. a worthy adversary. I'll see your 0.5ohm dual stovetop at 4.1V and raise you a 26awg 2.5mm 0.99 ohm contact coil in my new AchilleFun at 6V.

A pair of round tipped jewelers pliers make starting the inside coil easy....

Nope stock base. Only the top cap is modified.

It won't leak out the bottom unless you fill it above the air port which is almost even with the top of the ring. View attachment 482003

The coil sits up in the cutout in the top cap.

Edit: I just measured, the top of the coil to the bottom of the drip-tip is 4mm.
