Edgar's ok, no slouch at all. But Johnny... that man could play the blues, and then some. One of my biggest regrets is that I never got to see him live; I learned here on ECF of his death last year, and it broke my heart.

I like both Winters, but being a keyboard player myself I'm a bit more partial to Edgar... He plays a Rhodes piano in this one, not the crazy synth stuff - it might be a surprise to anyone not familiar with Edgar's stuff other than Frankenstein. A sad song of loss and mourning, and somewhat appropriate now that it's finally September (come on cooler weather - I'm tired of cooking in this Texas heat!!)

Womper Woom on page 2? No way. Where have all the Wompers gone?

I was so sidetracked by the smok contest thread, I neglected nearly all the other threads I usually watch -- I was still following along in here, but I'm somewhat less of a womper than the rest of you -- and the mods I'm using most often these days have internal batteries, so the ins and outs of removables is less of an issue for me, ATM. That will probably change, since I probably need to also have nice small box that takes 18650s; got a couple of those that I really don't use anymore, though they're still perfectly good batteries.

I followed that Smok give away thread the first couple days but after I had to go back to work, there was no way I could keep up with it. Seeing how I knew I didnt stand a snow balls chance of winning if they went by random post, there wasnt any real point in me visiting it much anyways. The contest kinda irritated me with them going by random post. Those of us who had to work or whatever and couldnt be there posting banal stuff 24/7 really had no chance of winning.

I was just glad that I didn't care to win, and would have PIFed it if I did get randomly chosen. I just love free-for-all threads like that, so I kinda camped out there while it was going on. :D Those threads are a LOT more fun for me, if I'm not interested in winning; I can congratulate the winners HONESTLY, not begrudging them their win. :D I was really peeved in the disrupter giveaway, because I really wanted one, and didn't win. :(

Looking at that second link it syas the blue and the green are the same except the green will take more charging/usage cycles.

Yeah the green one is just "this years" version of the 25R. Power/performance wise its the same specs, just can take a bit more cycles in its lifetime. I love the 25R, they easily outperform both my LG HE2s and HE4s, which were all bought around the same time. I can kill my HE2s in a few hours of chain vaping at 20w pulling just under 6A but the 25Rs will last an entire day for the most part. Im debating getting a few more because theyre so cheap now, but I really wanna try a couple of those LG HG2s and see what kinda extra runtime I can get.

I'm officially retired, so I have all the time to follow the Smok thread but....

I only post if I have something constructive to any thread, or I can post something that makes the reader spew their beverage of choice through their nose...no preference for either type...

I got out my vaping bag last night to do some coils and seen I had 4 Efest batteries in it. Got me thinking and counting and at the moment it seems I have 17 18650 batteries so was kinda wondering if I really needed 10 more of them.....
But I dont really trust the Efest batteries and thats what I have the most of. Pulling 20 amps on them in the Snow Wolf and they claim they are rated for it but still, so probably will pick up some 25R's just to be on the safe side.
