Brooklyn is the place for pizza I agree though I almost never get over there. Last time I went I got the idea to walk over the bridge. Who knew the stupid thing was like 50 miles across??

I gotta say I haven't known a snowbird since the 70's. All the young people moved down there and stayed.

Back then everyone went to Florida to see grandma.

Now everyone comes to NY to see grandma.

I think half the population of NY is gonna be dead in 10-20 years

I was eight years old and my older sister looked through one of those "peep" show holes and a man came out screaming at her. Chasing her with an umbrella! We were from New Orleans and it was New Orleans times 1000!

Maybe I'll go one day. The last time I was in NY city, was circa 1970. It was not a good memory. I was eight years old and my older sister looked through one of those "peep" show holes and a man came out screaming at her. Chasing her with an umbrella! We were from New Orleans and it was New Orleans times 1000!

Yup the 70's & 80's & early 90's were not a good time. I saw things that would make your hair stand. It became so much better after that. Cleaned up a lot. But from what my family and friends tell me the new Mayor has destroyed everything in just 2 years!

I went to the Bronx in 77. Dear lord that was bad.

The last 20 years have been the best ever.

I think its starting to go the other way last few times down. I think the city is headed down the sewer.

From what I've been told it's going back to the bad old days for sure. If they vote this ..... back in for a second term then they deserve what they get and I'll never go back!

Back when we used to live in Orygun, I ate lunch at Golden Corral at least once a week - great food and reasonable prices. I found one in Rapid City, SD, a few months ago. It was easily 4 times as big as the one in Orygun, and, without a doubt, the worst crap I ever had the misfortune to eat. Never again!

Funny how different locations of any restaurant can make/be a hugh difference in quality!
