I work in a very dusty environment. Black brake dust from the 30 or so forklifts creates coal mine like boogers.

When my CF4 was my work mod I never had any issues with it getting dirty.

Longterm I'm not convinced I got my moneys worth out of the CF4. The battery in mine, and others I'm aware of, don't seem to last a super long time. Because of this I personally am no longer buying disposable mods even though I did love the CF4.

Hey, you guys that have the CoolFire IVs, does "debris" ever get into those cutouts at the top corners of the mod? I was looking at Rixta's picture and it reminded me... I had been meaning to ask that. Some of my time is spent in a very "dusty" environment, and sometimes my pockets get hay chaff and other tiny debris in them. If I did get one of these, I probably shouldn't take it outside with me, like EVER? Or what's the story on those cutouts? Where do those holes GO? I've never seen one in person, just pictures. I already have two "house mods," so if this would be restricted to indoor use only, I might as well skip it.

Hello Lannie.

That cutout is just basically a hole for a Lanyard to go through, that's all it is and nothing to worry about, it is certainly closed off from the internals.
If your worried about taking it out, put a wrap on it of get a silicone case... Personally, I would get something with an external battery, maybe a nice SMY 60 or eVic VTC Mini as a few examples.

I only wanted it because I could get one etched. It's not that I NEED another mod. OK, I'll pass on that one, then.

You know what I really like, are these little Kanger Kbox mods (not Subox, just plain Kbox). And they were on sale for $11 a couple months back, so we have four of 'em now. And I could get a skin for these if I really want something fancy, I guess.

I have an Evic mini and I love it, but I'm afraid of getting "stuff" in the USB port hole thing. I read somewhere that someone found a plug to go in there to keep dust and debris out, but I haven't been successful finding such a plug. I need to go ask the person that posted that, I think. If I can remember where I read it. LOL!

Meanwhile, the little Kboxes are the ones that go outside with me for now.

Fed up with the ridiculously long fugly drip tip on the Herakles Plus I decided it was time to do something about it.

This tip was almost as much as the tank cost but wow, is it well made and feels great on the lips, keeps super cool with a Delrin bottom and alloy top. Perfect airflow too, much wider than most due to it being a friction 510 fit.

That's one schmexy rig! Be careful with friction fit drip tip! I was using one until it kinda wore out! Removing & replacing for cleaning finally made the fit not so frictioney anymore & it kept falling out! Although your's is definately of a better quality than mine it might be something to watch for! JMHO!

I will never take it out, being top fill, that little top section comes off so I will clean it as one complete unit, it fits very feel, with a click when you push it down, it's the old saying, you get what you pay for..

And my Subtank Plus fits perfect on them, I want one in black to take out and about without having to carry juice around with me, oh no, I'm going to spend more money again.....oh no, that means another dotmod drip tip in black again, help.
