That is Ridiculous!! All because one person had a problem with it!!

BTW I need a cooler also for work to keep my gear in!

A cooler??

Strangely enough I don't have that problem at work (see my name).

I have camo Crocs in Real Tree and Mossy Oak. I have lined winter Crocs in Realtree.

Did not find my shoes but with the mess here and the work I been doing I get some grace.

Because of my job (see my name) I spend alot of time in the hot tub. More so in the Winter. I come home from work I'm cold and misrable and cannot get warm. I'll keep my insulated work colths on a sit in a 65 degree room wrapped in a blanket freezing. Or sit in the hot tub for a half hours and run around the rest of the night warm and cozy in Crocs plus whatever colthing I can get away with.

So I was in Crocs half the time anyway and over time it evolved that I pretty much only wear Crocs these days. Alot of foot problems I had from work boots like that plantar fastitis crap also went away like magic.

In a 65 degree room, I could wear double long-johns and 2 blankets and STILL be cold! That's frigid! I'm cold if the furnace is set to only 70 degrees! Gotta be at least 73 before I even approach comfort.

Man, you live in NY and work in a cooler? I cannot fathom that. Cannot. Nope, no way. Glad your footsies are better though. :D

The last session yesterday at the conference was SO freaking cold I was shivering. Couldn't even concentrate on what the speaker was saying. I HATE being cold. It actually hurts.
Oh, and I think I have ADD too Andria. So hard to concentrate at work. I sit there with headphones and chewing nic gum all day. And pop in and out of this forum while a query is running. Can't keep my mind still, never could.

That inability to stop or even slow down the mind is why I suffered so dreadfully from insomnia when I was younger. It still bothers me at times, but less now than probably any previous time in my life.

I completely agree about cold; even though I have my troubles with hot flashes, in general I'm usually very cold-natured. A lot of that in the past was due to my cold hands and feet -- and I'm delighted to find that my reduction to 5mg nic has pretty much eliminated my Popsicle Paws problem. :D And I can operate touch-screens though in the past, touch-screens hated me. :D

But that's just one reason why I hate hospitals and dr's offices; knowing WHY they keep it that cold (to discourage microbial growth) doesn't make it any easier to endure.

The ex is that way while I am totally opposite. I cant stand it too hot. Recent years I would wake up in a puddle of sweat, look at the heater and see it set at 75 or 78 and just turn it off. Not down mind ya, off! She would wake up at 05:30 to get ready for work and the house would be in the 50's.

That's funny! I bet you had problems when mood rings came out. Remember those? They'd change color from the warmth of the finger.

Yeah, they always seemed to indicate that I was dead. :D

the "new rule" was that e-cig equipment, juice of any kind was prohibited at any school district campuses, parking lots, anything the school district owned.

Keep it on your person, the school district does not own you.

<yes I am swearing at them>

Don't blame you; it shouldn't be that warm when sleeping, or it dries out the mucosa too much, leaves you vulnerable to any passing cold/flu virus. But "off" is a bit extreme too; the 50's is MUCH too cold; when i wake up and the house is 64 degrees because the stupid programmable thing set itself to 62 after my husband left for work, I swear it's a herculean effort just to get up and turn it up to 70 -- or 71 if I'm staying up.

But considering where coolerat lives, I'm rethinking 65 being too cold; it's true that the colder it is outside, the lower it should be set inside, because the more it has to run, the more it dries you out. When we lived in MI, I preferred it about 68-70, rather than 72-74. And up north, 65 at night while sleeping.
