That doesn't mean anything, it just so happens that it happened in that mod, sooner or later with that build with those rated batteries and at that temperature those batteries were reaching, something was going to happen eventually.
Wismec were correct in blaming you which is why they suggest 25A, you can't give a company a bad name because of user error.

VW mods and their related amp draws are alien to me. I think to safely do 75 watts you need at least two batteries though. Unless you can find an actual 30 amp battery.

If they were these: LG Brown HG2 INR18650 3000mah 18650 Battery (pair) - 101 Vape
they are still 20A cdr, the 35A pulse is meaningless.
