I enjoy pure coffee, but I don't see cream and sugar as an adulteration, it brings out some of the more subtle flavors. That and it can mask some errors in the roasting if the beans were left in a little too long.

I have had coffee with cream before but for the most part I like a good strong coffee plain. Yet I hold nothing against anyone who wished otherwise. I just find it humorous that they get a liquid dessert and call it coffee
