Yea I heard that they can get the RF signal. I think they can scan you even if your not using it and it's in your wallet or purse. I guess we'll never be totally safe unless we pay with cash only.
I think I remember reading that they're designed to be chip AND pin, but the card outfits here haven't implemented the PIN part....

That's what bugs me. Most places I swipe, then they say no you have to insert it at the bottom. Other places I try using the chip thingy and they don't have it and I have to swipe anyways

It's not always the camera's fault... sometimes it's the clothes. I think smocks always add a few pounds. Sometimes it is the way one stands or sits or... well... we could all lose a few more pounds...
