They even play some new music. I'll hear a song I really like and tell my wife I "discover" this new song. She will then tell me thats like the biggest hit ever and the whole world loves it.
OH. You mean its not 1979 anymore?? When did this happen??
Like Duffy. That woman may have the greatest voice ever. And she wasn't even born during my "golden era".
What are ya gonna do??
My phone only makes phone calls. It has a wire that comes out the back and plugs into the wall. It sits right there next to my 8-track player.Sorry, Coolerat, I'm just an old fuddy duddy with NO techie gene anywhere in my dna. But I'm gathering from what you said that I should "copy" the CDs onto the hard drive, right?
Wow a landline?? To rich for my blood. Haven't had one in 10 years but still remember those monster bills.
Yes rip them on to your harddrive.
No cell service here, even if we wanted a cell phone, which we don't.I know it's hard to believe, but yes, there are still two people living on the planet who do not have, and do not want, a "smart" phone. LOL! But I'll bring my CDs down here one day and see if I can figure out how to "rip them." Thanks!

I turned all our old vinyl records and cassettes into MP3, then burned them on CD-ROM for storage. I didn't see any need to digitize the existing CDs because we do not own any of those fancy electronic gadgets like iPhones, iPods, Ipads, etc. In the truck, we can listen to radio or CDs and at home, we don't get radio reception (I think they insulated this house with beer cans - the signal will not come through the walls) except via Dish satellite channels on the boob tube, and that TV is really old (NOT stereo).Put the CD's in and the computer will turn them into digital files. Those files will play on a computer or iPod or iPhone or what ever.

Our computers are in the dungeon and I am not buying anything that will connect the TV upstairs to the internet. I clicked your link. Don't care for whatever noise that was coming out of the speakers. I want only classic oldies ('70s and '80s stuff). That modern crap annoys me too much.Clearly you have the innerwebz.
That ChuckFM runs off the innernet.
Spoken like a true trucker. As long as the beast runs and the 4WD works, to heck with everything else.My truck is very old and doesn't have many options. Well actually it has all the options but none of them work anymore except the four wheel drive which is all I care about.

I have a flip phone. Don't want a phone that is smarter than me.No cell service here, even if we wanted a cell phone, which we don't.I know it's hard to believe, but yes, there are still two people living on the planet who do not have, and do not want, a "smart" phone. Here is mine:Oh, I just remembered, I got on here for a REASON (talk about ADD! LOL!). You guys distracted me with all that Pink Floyd stuff.
I wuz gonna say, I have a tankful of that Mother's Milk clone and I'm guessing it will need steeping time? It's pleasant, but I don't see what all the hubbub is about with that flavor. Of course, there are a hundred different clone recipes, so maybe I didn't pick the right one. I just picked one that looked simple and good. I like graham cracker.Maybe it's because I used Vanilla Custard V2 in it.
I ordered a small bottle of the V1 custard to try, because I figured if the cake batter was SO MUCH BETTER than the cake batter dip (which is supposed to be the diketone free version of cake batter) then maybe I was shorting myself by not trying the original vanilla custard. So if there's that much of a difference between the version 1 and 2 custards, maybe I should make this again when my flavors get here, and use the original custard in it.
Depends on what is being painted...Paint with a broad brush much.
Yeah, I did. Nice instrumental version of a 1971 classic, but I kept wanting to hear Bill Withers singing. Who's Paul Rose anywhoo...?Anyway hope you like the tune.
