I'm sure all the V4L veterans know this but for new guys like me, this was a cool discovery. The 901 atomizers fit perfectly on the KR808D-1 batts. And it gives a pretty good vape. (Taste and TH are better with the VK, vapor is about the same using a PG/VG mix)

I know the whole point (and advantage) of the 2-piece model is to avoid the constant dripping and refilling of small cartridges but I like the idea of having an option. Especially for backup purposes.

Currently, my most satisfying vape comes from using my 901 atomizer with my V4L manual battery. I throw away the batting inside of the 901 atomizer and drip 6-8 drops of my V4L nobacco juice (using enough so that it doesn't leak out of the hole which varies depending on the size of the dropper). This yields lots of flavor, vapor, and throat hit. I'm still experimenting with the V4L cartos but I got a bunch of perfumy tasting ones (which Steve said he would replace so I'm hoping they are in my order that's arriving tomorrow), so my 901 atomizer + V4L battery/juice have been what's keeping me away from the analogs.

Calla2, yesterday morning I washed out 4 cartos and decided to use the 901 atty to see what it was like. Since I like to wait as long as possible to let the cartos dry I used it pretty much all day. Worked well but the hassle of dripping and touching up and refills and etc...I still prefer the cartos a lot more.

But I love the fact that its such an easy backup. I ordered a bunch of cheap 901 attys because I'm neurotic and live in fear of the "Return of the Analog" TM. If I never use them its still worth it, for peace of mind alone.
