I have Renegade in my ZAP and Gold in my Standard, both are quite tasty!

Cerver, I tried Pluid in my ZAP, and all I can say is you'd better really like it! It amps the flavor up past 10!

Nice thing about pluid, as you get used to the strong flavors the subtle flavors shine through. Bad thing about pluid, once you try it, nothing compares in the intensity of flavors.

Different voltages bring out different flavors.

Ok, been using the ZAP for 2 days now and still not sure if I'm liking it. Batteries are not lasting as long as with vivi novos. Ohms are 1.8, used 2.4 on novas and liked the vape. This is my first genesis type and I'm still a noob. Any help would be appreciated. I'm willing to give this thing a fair shake before I think about posting it to the classy ads.

you can add a couple wraps or if you have it on a vv device, turn it down to get the same kind of range you are used to

It's on provari, running it at 3.8, seems real cool. On positive side, I can actually taste they flavor more. Another question, is the burn I'm feeling on back of mouth/throat the nic? Using 24mg. I seen where Zen said most people lower their nic when using ZAP. To do away with the burn should I use lower nic?

It's nice @ 4 but the burn is not so nice.

what do you mean by burn? throat hit? do you have the hole lined up with the wick?

Doesn't feel like a typical TH, a slight burn like a menthol at the upper back of my throat. That's the best I can describe it. I do have the hole lined up with wick and sometimes off it for more vapor.

I was getting the same thing for the first couple of tanks, but the third tank started tasting "right".. I guess it just had to break in?

tastes good now, not harsh like before.

it definitely takes a few tanks for a wick to become seasoned. you can attempt to drip juice on the coil and burn it in (with now juice in the tank). this will help break the coil in.


and if it's harsh, also consider that you may have a short

Did you break it in properly? I just re-wrapped my coils and forgot to ramp up the volts in increments and got a super harsh hit. I am no expert by any means but if you follow Zen's vid it should help you out. You should also download his written instructions:

I am using my DIY Orange Cream, tastes like a Creamsicle. I have it around 10mg. My coil is reading 2ohm so I have it at around 4.7volts. Nice and smooth and it really brings out the flavor. I have noticed the Genesis style atty, or at least the Zap, can handle higher wattage better than most attys.
Mini Cooper, if you used to doing 24mg, I would really try a lower MG juice in the Zap, I guess it depends on how you are vaping it also.
I have changed the way I inhale on the Zap compared to other configs. It is kind of like Busardo said, its like relearning how to vape. I do a mixture of a primer puff then straight inhale, then a normal pull all tied together. I never straight inhaled in normal atty and cartos, would kill my throat.
