Sorry for the delay in getting the rest of the Tuesday orders out. We didn't have enough of the O-Ring Kits on Tuesday and we were waiting on a shipment but today was a good ship day and most of them have processed or are processing now.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Ah ha! I ordered 2 Z-Attys and afterword in my haste, I forgot to order a few of these extra kits so I went back on and ordered two of them. I thought that just maybe, they would have been bundled with my Z-Atty order, but when I opened the box and didn't see them, I thought that what you stated might have happened. Well, this morning I received the shipping confirmation stating that the two O-Ring kits are on their way.

i hope my initial coil is good and ready so i wont have to replace it for sometime.

When I opened one of my Z-Atty's and looked at the coil, I gotta say that whoever coiled mine, sure did know what they were doing. The twists are evenly spaced and when I tested it for hotspots, there were none and it burned perfectly. I didn't have to do anything to it.

Hopefully yours are the same way.

I gotta say, it's a completely different experience. Up until a week or so, the only vaporizer that I had was a TW Tornado that I had for about 2.5 years and really had no complaints about it. Now, I am the proud owner of a ProVari Mini and 2 Z-Atty's and I gotta say that vaping with one of these bad boys is a completely different vaping experience that's like night and day. As mentioned in the different videos that have discussed this atty, and one thing that will take some getting used to if you have never used a Genesis style Atty, is that the ZAP hardly has any pull to it. It's similar to sucking air through a straw. To compensate, and what Zen himself says, it to take long, slow, deliberate pulls from it. That's pretty much the key to it. Also, make sure that you set the small hole in the top cap to the proper distance from the wick (which is accomplished by just turning the end cap). For me, I have my Mini set to 4v (the Atty runs 1.7ohms) with the pin hole slightly off center from the wick and with this set up, I am getting a lot of vapor with a slight to medium throat hit. If you set the pin hole placement 180 degrees from the wick, you will get a MASSIVE throat hit and not much vapor so beware when you first try it.

I also have to say that vaping with this style of atomizer has completely changed the taste of e-juices that I had grown accustomed to the past few years. My main "go to" vape is Vapor Station's Seattle and now, I noticed that it's a completely different taste with the Zen and to tell you the truth, I have yet to grow used to it. So, beware....This atty might make your "favorite" e-juice become just a "so-so" e-juice. :)

Either way, have fun with you ZAP and let us know how you like it.

I was 32105 and I received mine yesterday. Funny thing, it was announced that it would go on sale at 1300 PST, but at about 1255, I refreshed the website once, and it wouldn't allow you to "add to cart", but when I refreshed about 10 seconds later, I was able to add two Z-Atty's to my cart. Again, this was around 1255 (or by my system clock it was that time) so I would bet that I was near the front.

u r right, i got it be4 1pm pst.

I am seeing a similar experience. My coil only needed a slight adjustment on the most bottom wrap. My coil is ringing in at 1.9 and I have my Mini set to 4.6 volts. I will say this, my 18350s are not lasting as long as before due to me vaping in a different manner. I am taking a lot longer pulls with the Zap therefore upping the vaping time and shorting the lift of the battery. It is not a big deal to me though. I am finding myself mixing a primer puff with a straight inhale(which i never did before) then doing a short mouth pull at the end. Makes for an interesting way to vape and I quite enjoy it.

Why do you need extra kits? It does come with everything I would assume. I have 2 coming too. Placed an order for one first and then the hubby decided he wanted one too after people said it would work on his Vmax so I went back for another for him. I didn't get the extra kit though. I hope I don't need them.

Also I hope that isn't true about Zen discontinuing the stiff draw cap. I have one for my Zenesis ASH and like it so much better than the airy draw cap. Just much better flavor and I just like the way it vapes. Maybe if we all sign up to be notified for the stiff draw caps on the HOH site Zen will realize how many people want them. Money is a pretty good motivator.

I hope mine is too. But only because I'm lazy. :p

On my Zenesis I just had to do a little adjusting. Even if it isn't perfect you may not need to replace it. I just had to tighten it up a bit. My coils were just too loose and weren't touching the wick which resulted in several hot spots but that was a pretty easy fix. Can not wait to get my ZAP!! Should be here Monday I think.

Im not sure what extra kit is being referred to. Ive never had a Zen before and saw a glass tank so automatically for a clutz like me an extra tank was purchased. I like the steel tank so I got one of those also. And o'rings eventually all wear out so I got an extra set of those also. I dont think any of it was needed but nice to have just in case, right?

Middle of nowhere
I am getting a muted vape(flavor) also.
I have read thru a lot of post and I have check all the things suggested.
No contact anywhere with the wick. Coils glowing great.
I'm using liquid from Nhaler(hi octane) and I even tried Ry4.
Maybe I've been vaping on it to much and need to rest my taste buds. I do have a nic headache but got it from trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.
I may just need to put it down for a while and try again later.
It has been this way since I got it Thursday. I'm not one to just ask without trying everything first. Like I said I have read probably 1000 post on here and see that a few have ask then followed the suggestions several times.
I have not given up yet but any help would be appreciated.

I posted this yesterday over there. Here are a few things to try. Are you getting a metalic taste or just muted?

..l. try adding a couple drops to your wick and burn it in a few times. tilt the pv and see how long it takes for you to see juice drip out the end. some also pinch the top of the wick slightly and if it's a high vg ratio, they leave the top of the wick just a tad higher than the post ( but not too high that it hits the inside of the cap). you want to vape it at 3 o clock until you know the wick has been seasoned with a few tanks...

hopefully some others will chime in with some ideas.

That would be fantastic though be sure to watch the really great video on the ZAP page of the Provape site. Having owned a Line and read quite alot about most others Gen Atty adjustments to the coil are just a part of owning/using one.....no big deal just may take a bit of practice and as I believe Zen has said: There's no such thing as a bad coil.....referring to minor adjustments of a new coil that one will eventually find themselves needing to make.....:toast:

Help always available with issues though if encountered as others I believe have said....:)

Interesting.....landlord is right and I'm personally curious as to how well your juice is or is not wicking. All coils glowing and doing so quickly limits the potential issue list significantly.

Also play with the voltage a lil.. if the voltage is too high it will mute the flavor.. are you getting a burnt flavor? If it a metallic type flavor you you may want to try tilting like tybin said until it breaks in a bit. Take the cap off and tilt it. take note of how long it takes the juice to flow through the wick..
