I am a strong supporter of this forum, and I try to abide by the rules at all times, but I cannot help but feel like this whole censoring thing is getting a bit excessive. I can see not wanting people to discuss using vape products for other substances, but just the mere mention of it seems to freak everyone out. The guy was only repeating what the cops told him, there is a huge difference in this and advocating the use of other substances. I have even seen people get reprimanded for mentioning e-solid atomizers, yet companies like fast tech are actually selling nicotine based e-solids for use in these atomizers.

I get the whole point about separating our hobby from the other stuff, but when we become this uptight about it, aren't we doing the same thing the cops did in the OPs story? And let's not forget, those "other substances" are legal in places of the U.S., so why are we trying to alienate those people from discussing their--completely legal--hobby on the forum here.

And yes, I've read the sticky about all this.

Must make the forum safe for children. Oh, wait...

If vaping becomes illegal in certain places- like NYC or California, will mentioning vaping in those places be banned on the forum?

I see both points of view but to me this is about my nicotine addiction. Thats why Im here.. if you want to discuss vaping other things then there are other forums out there to talk about such things...

And no it isn't legal anywhere in the country.. Some states have medical programs but it is federally illegal. State and federal are two separate things and a federal court will wipe with any Dr recommendation..

So I agree to keep this junk off the forums.
