Which airflow setting are you using? I'm trying to like mine, so far, it's just ok.

I'm using the dual airflow ring that's open about 1/2 way. I changed out the cotton and I am using cotton bacon that is relatively cut short. I have watts set at 45, although I have bumped it up to 50 at times. The flavor and vapor have been great for me. I'm going to continue to play with it and try different things, but I am sticking with the notch coil until it burns out.

:thumb: Thanks! I've gotta look up how to do it, lol. I've never wrapped my own Claptons.

you can buy them for relatively cheap if you don't want to get involved in wrapping them yourself.:)

Hope you get this thing worked out where it works for you. I'm sure there will be youtube videos coming out shortly on all kinds of ways to make this thing chug. gl

Was just rewicking and dry burning mine and found 2 things. Is anybody elses Notch coil drifting down? I had the coil flush with the top of the T-post and when I rewicked it was closer to the deck. Second I stretched out the coil just a hair mabe 25% longer and holy hell did that change the experience clouds and flavor for freaking days single air over the coil.

Finally got around to it. I rec'd mine with the coil/wick already in place. All is well right now but I was almost ready to put it back in the box. My mouth was getting filled with juice with every vape. It stopped doing that on its own.

Current situation~ flavor & vapor for days!!!!

If you have around a 26 or 28 ga. you can do 10-11 wraps and achieve mostly the same effect if in parallel or twisted. Lower resistance, but the juice soaking you are looking for is still achieved.
Thank you, I would love to learn, parallel I understand I think, just take 2 wires & wrap together, right? Twisted, uhm, twist 2 wires together? Manually?

Vertabraids are super easy to make and work pretty good too though you need 32 gauge preferably if you want to run duals (dual 6 wrap, 2.5 mm is about .2 ohms). 30 gauge works good for single coils (one 6 wrap, 2.5 mm is about .2 ohms)

Clapton wrapped vertabraids are even better!

Since it's a SS 316L coil with Nickel legs, I would try the SS304 TCR. That's what most people use for the Crown SS coils which also are SS316L with Nickel legs.

Cheers,
Steve

Edit Since Joyetech moves the decimal to the right 1 place (iirc) I would try 0102-0105, that range should give you good results. I use DNA200 mods which input the TCR as shown in the chart (they don't move the decimal point).

Takes some practice but it's pretty easy. I like to hand crank mine...

Wow!!! Way over my level of expertise! Very impressive!
You & me both Heart!! LOL!! I just loop my wires around the clip of an ink pen & roll it on my lap. Been doing it this way for so long that any other way for me would be overkill. Kudos to those who can build rigs to accomplish the same thing tho. Looking at BT's setup there, I'd have the wire spiraling off the spool & probably end up busting myself in the head with a piece of wood.....believe me, something would definitely go wrong.

I now know why I was literally drinking juice ~ USER ERROR! :sneaky:
I was treating it like a tank & filling with too much juice but this thing is essentially a dripper & we know not to overfill those.
The THEOREM will go on my list of tanks not to carry out in the street with me cause I dont wanna carry a bottle of juice- that's highly inconvenient for me along with stopping to refill every 10 min or less.

In a extensive German review he had an issue with the steel sleeve not fitting, is that an issues for the users here?
I haven't tried my sleeve- dont think I will either only cause I'm not a fan of that particular look.
Added surprise was it shipped with a total of 3 glasses- 1 already attached, 1 in the SS sleeve & 1 extra!!!

My match-y match-y OCD kicked in- not being able to find a cyan drip tip I like, I ordered a cyan Tron tank just for the tip.

Man....does this mean I have a defect lol
I see that all of you have no leakage but as for mine....just by tilting it in the side a bit you can practically see the liquid coming up the juice chamber up towards the black preek....whats up with mine!:-x

Did you try washing & drying it & checking for the tiny, tiny o ring that going onto the peek insulator "regulating component" that's what Wismec calls it.
