I was a heavy smoker. not so much in quantity I would only smoke a pack a day but I would get either Newport or Camel Menthol Wides and pull the filter out and tear it in half and fluff it back out so they would hit really hard. So I'm looking for a hard hitting PV I don't care what it looks like it just has to work good, and alot of people say the SD is a hard hitter. I have looked on several websites but there all SOLD OUT. I saw the Prodigy and GG look a little like it does anyone have 2 of them or all 3 to compare? I also liked the way the EAZE MAGNUM looked like it hit hard I just don't know what to do I already got screwed once. I live in a smaller city and the oly e-cig they had was the HEALTH ecigarette which I paid $55 dollars for and got in a fight with my wfe over and now I join this forum and find out that I can get it for $10 and it's gonna catch on fire probably while I'm vaping on it.

The SD is a great PV. I highly recommend it. I would also consider one of the 5 or 6 volt PV's as they have probably the best throat hit. If you want to consider more than just the SD, here are most of the larger battery devices:

The Big Nine in Long Battery Life Manual Switch PV’s:

Screwdriver (3.7v): ecigscrewdriver.com
The Black Screwdriver Electronic Cigarette Kit
Prodigy (5v): PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!!
GG (6v): The GG - The Immortal e-cigarette
JantyStick (3.7v): Janty USA - HOME
LV/ZiMoshi (3.7 or 6v): Hardass Vapor Shop
Super T (3.7v or 6V): Super T, Innovative manufacturer of Personal Vaporizer products.
AdapteverR (6v): Home - AdapteveR Home of the ORIGINAL USA built PV
Silver Bullet (3.7v): AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizer Silver Bullet - Kit - Starter Kits
VP1/VP2 (3.7v): VaprLife

Note: don't be fooled by anyone telling you that the small battery devices such as the RN4081 (SE Gold) or the Blu, just two examples, are hard hitting. They aren't.

Good Luck in your search for a good device.

The GG is sorta as in really hard to get your hands on. A man in Greece makes them in a limited quantity - and my impression is that he considers it a 'hobby' rather than a business. There's quite a group of GG lovers here - you should be able to find them by using the 'forum jump' at the bottom of each page.

I could never find a price - though references in other threads have implied that a GG, attys, bats, charger, adapters ... ran as much as $300 or more.

And on the Prodigy which atomizer DSE801, DSE901, or 510 where you refering to or is best for 5v?

Which atomizer you choose to use with the Prodigy is basically personal preference. I have the adapter for both the 901 and 801. I use the 801 exclusively because it has a bigger cart, holds more juice and still gives a consistently good throat hit. I personally found the 901 to be just a little too harsh plus being a smaller atomizer they don't seem to last as long before dieing.

Hey does anybody know if the Classic Pen Style Electronic Cigarette from e-Smokey Treats is the same thing as the DSE-801? I am definately leaning tward the DSE-801 I want a Prodigy some day and I might hold out for it now but I was thinking I can afford this one like next week and if I can use the atty and carts with it why not instead of waiting another month for the Prodigy.

Yes it is BUT you stated you wanted something that really hit hard. Understand that the regular penstyle DSE801 with the small regular battery has almost no throat hit at all. The 801 needs 5 volts to provide throat hit. I doubt you will be satisfied. If you can't find a high volt device in stock and want something quick with some throat hit until the Prodigy's are in stock, I would suggest the Joye 510 with the manual batteries, ONLY.

Edit: I did forget about the Janty Stick which uses the 801 at 3.7 volts. Many members have high praise for the JS.

what about the SD isn't only like 3.6 or 3.7 or something like that?

Yes, you use either 3.6 or 3.7 volt batteries in the SD. The effective output is actually about 4.0 to 4.2 volts. The SD is a very good device and will give you much better throat hit than any device other than the 5 or 6 volts devices. The standard atomizer with the SD is the 901 although you can get an adapter for the 801. I think it works best with the 901 just like I think the Prodigy works best with the 801.

I started with a 801 penstyle (Njoy's NCIG) and it is great for moving around but you need lots of spare batts. Great vape on full charge, but charge dies...
Then I was looking for Prodigy but no stock, so found Janty stick and it's got a USB port and with wall adaptor I don't need Prodigy anymore. More vape than I can deal with in the JS, so much so that I now feel confident enough to quit analogs all together.
The 801 penstyle works well during the transition period but I'm sure if you had 24mg juice you'd be able to quit immediately. I could only find 16mg-18mg and my transition was from 20-30 cigs a day to 1-2 after about 4 weeks and now with the Janty and 18mg, no more analogs for me.
