I've put together a quick video of the THERMO in action. Performs just like a 6v device should -- and is rock solid consistent. Great hit, every time, no misfires.

KR808D-1 Cartomizer, 510, DSE-801 and BE112 atomizers. Cut VG and straight PG both used.

If you don't like the music, I apologize.. there's always the mute button. :D

Part of the reason I cut the Rath juice with PG is to not clog atomizers as quickly, but also to get some throat hit back. It helps drastically, even at 16mg which is what I typically use. The higher voltage with the PG added in packs a good punch.

The Dekang Mint I was using is a STRONG batch of '24mg', which kicks like a mule at 6v on a pen-style atomizer.

Can't say enough about this device... I'm using it instead of the GGT I have, if that's any indication.

Was the 510 atty your were using a high voltage?

Nope.. it was an authentic Joye 510 atomizer, so lower resistance (2.3-2.5 ohms usually). I typically don't like a 'normal' 510 atomizer at high voltage with pure PG, just gets too harsh and burnt for me. However, with the cut Rath Juice, I'm loving it, ESPECIALLY with Carmel Apple.

I do have a SLB high voltage 510 atomizer (3.5 ohms), along with a high voltage 901 atomizer (4.2 ohms if I remember right), but I don't use them very much at all. You need to run a very high voltage on those atomizers to get a similar hit to a 'normal' atomizer at 5-6v, due to the added resistance. To give you an idea, I have to run 7.4v on that high voltage 901 just to get a hit that I like. Needless to say, that atomizer barely gets used.

I will say, that the Boge 510 atomizers (from the disposable kits) do better at high voltage, with pure PG liquid, than the authentic Joye 510s, from my experience and in my opinion. Does not get harsh nearly as quick for me..

NICE vapor production, obviously!

I'm assuming the flavor came through differently, according to the atomizer used......??

Yes, in my experience, just as with 3.7v vaping, the atomizer used can change the amount of flavor that can come through, along with throat hit and vapor.

Most of my vaping lately has honestly just been cartomizers at high voltage (lots of flavor, throat hit and vapor as long as you keep it wet) and 510 at any voltage (depending on liquid being used).

So how many hits are you taking before topping off the cartos? (Gotta keep 'em pretty wet)
They are INSANELY easy to fill, aren't they?
And at what point do you feel OK with retiring them?
Just wondered..... I haven't gotten the chance to try one at high voltage just yet.....

Amount of hits varies.. I don't usually keep track really. However, the amount of drops I put it is pretty consistent. On a fresh blank cartomizer, I'll start with 20 drops in one end of the cart condom (the one without the stopper). Remove the mouthpiece and o-ring, and insert that end into the cart condom and SLOWLY push it down into the pool of liquid. That should allow it to soak into the polyfill -- you may have some excess that you can re-use later.

At that point I'll usually do the 'spin method' to push the liquid into the polyfill a bit more, and I can get another 10 drops in there for 30 total. Pop the mouthpiece (o-ring optional) on and you're off to the races. That lasts a good amount of time, even at high voltage.

When I'm ready to top off, I just pop off the white mouthpiece, angle the carto and put drops in along the inner wall, sort of hitting the polyfill and wall at the same time, while rotating the cartomizer after each drop to get an even amount. I usually do this for 8-10 drops, possibly more if I feel like doing the 'spin' or 'thermometer' methods after the 8-10 drops.

I'm used to it, so it is actually pretty easy and quick for me.. plus, you can load up a few ahead of time to be ready to go for a while. :)

As far as retiring a cartomizer, I can tell when it's starting to fade -- needing a longer button press for a decent hit. If I check the resistance of the cartomizer at that point, it's almost certainly gone up from the normal 3.0 ohm range.. if it gets in the 4.5 ohm range I pitch it.

My last cartomizer lasted over a week, with a good amount of usage, only being used at high voltage..

Not a problem.. :)

Also, I think it's obvious, but I'll put it out there just to be sure -- using the same methods for filling a cartomizer, you'll obviously get even more usage before needing to top off, when used at the normal 3.7v.

If I'm going to be out and about for a while, I usually throw a cartomizer on a 3.7v device for the good amount of usage I'll get without needing to stop and top off again.

But, as with everything, your mileage may vary. :D
