Thinking about buying a pack of smokes

Not to smoke of course those days are gone never to be repeated. I just want to set it on my desk so I can point to it occasionally and say "Yea that's right I whooped your ....

Then the next thing that happens is.....You're going to smoke one just to prove you beat the habit and don't need it. You'll think it tastes disgusting. And then you'll smoke another one.

Pretty soon, you buy another pack.

Cool. Ya know what I miss? The two guys who work at the convenience store where I used to buy my daily pack of smokes, Al and Joe. I think their real names are Alhomed and Youseph but I always called them Al and Joe because, well, just look how I tried to spell their names. Don't have that with vaping and on-line purchases anymore. Miss that little slice of life, but hey, I quit smoking. No apologies there.

I had a dream that I bought a pack and smoked 2 cigs. I felt so bad that after a year I would do that. I woke up and was so relieved it did not happen. I know now that how much I may have a craving, it is not going to happen.

My Mom went cold turkey 7 yrs ago. She kept her last pack in the freezer for over a year.

Actually I do have an ashtray at the moment it is filled with left over trimmings of cotton wick and trimmed off bits of kanthal wire.

Quitting was a years long battle with cigs and they were winning I finally got a new secret weapon that allowed me to gain the upper hand and win.
Been smoke free for 8 months now so yea I am kinda proud of myself after failing so many times before.

My ashtrays are full of attys, cartos, coil heads, RDA and clearos, waiting to be cleaned and re-coiled....

As far as the temptation aspect I'm not really concerned about that as I am certain I will never smoke another cigarette ever again.
