I have a question that may or may not have been asked, but I wanted to clarify before I invest in an evic. Will the Phiniac tanks fit on an evic? I know it isn't that tank that goes on the evic, it's the cartomizer. The cartos in my Phiniac tanks were bought at my local Pink Spot vendor and they're the short cartos and they come in a white box that says "smok" on the box. I'm assuming these are smoktech cartos? I already invested a lot of money in my 5 custom made tanks so I want to be sure that these will work with the evic before I purchase it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I don't have a Phiniac tank. But I've used all types of 510 cartos (Smok, Boge, unmaked, and store branded), and they all work fine.

The eVic is one of the most versatile PVs available. It has both 510 and eGo threads, a deep drip well, and air channels. Chances are pretty good that it'll fit just about anything that uses 510.

For threading compatibility you can always pick up an adapter. The question with the eVic is low ohm vaping. I don't know the specific number but you wont be able to use anything lower than 1.5 or 1 ohms. I use a Kanger protank and a vision vivi nova on mine and personally love Victoria (my eVic). I've been contemplating a phiniac myself but feel a bit lost & intimidated.

How do you like your evic? Is it as good as it sounds?
I love my eVics. I haven't use anything else since I got them.

I recommend upgrading the firmware to version 1.3 immediately. Then set the device to VW mode and have the screen display voltage, resistance, and wattage. The eVic is not just a VV/VW device. It is both VW and VV simultaneously. When you adjust up/down, both the voltage and wattage are instantly updated on screen. It's simple and intuitive, yet it has more features than any other device you can buy.

It's not perfect, of course. But it's pretty close. The build quality could be better, but it's acceptable. It's limited to 11 watts, and like most regulated devices, it can't fire sub-ohm coils.

You really want to keep the ohms close to 2.0 IMHO. The volt limit starts to creep down below 2 ohms.

I use EVOD coils with a 2.2 ohm rating and find that gives me a nice operating range, and the EVOD coils have a tighter draw which makes the vapor a bit more flavorful. Happy Vaping.

Thank you all for your input. I can't wait to receive my new toy! I'm finding myself obsessively checking my email to see if I've gotten the "it has shipped" email. Lol. Anyway, I'm glad that I invested in this instead of jumping on the Provari wagon. Not saying the Provari is a bad mod... I just think for my vaping wants/needs, the evic is better suited.

I'm on the same boat as you when it came to ordering my first mod. I did all the research and didnt want to spend the money on a provari, cause I'm the kind of guy who hates it when my electronics became outdated, and liked the vamo, but I had started with joyetech so I just went with the evic. It's been great, I don't even like using any other mod now cause my evic just gives me everything I want pluse the bells and whistles, not to mention getting new firmware is awesome. The evic is defiantly a great pv and you'll love it.
