Thinking About Giving Up...

So I'm thinking about giving up on vaping. There's always something coming up, most recently my ZNA 50 clone with my Lemo on it just magically disappearing. This happening after I just traded in my GI2 box mod earlier today. So I pretty much think I'm done. I'm tired of spending money that I can barely scrape up, and ending right back at square one. So this is it. After 4 months of vaping, I quit.

This is what happens when you get involved with buying every "better" toy... You, run out of toys, cause none are really BETTER, just the next thing.. Seems to me if you always end up at the same place, when searching.. You are either on the wrong path or searching for the wrong thing. Just take a breath and take a real good look around while standing on square one.

Should have made my initial post a little clearer, and I forgot to mention my ZNA 50 and Lemo were the perfect set up for me. I wasn't searching for anything, which is why I traded my GI2. I just got supplies out of that. What I meant to say is my luck with vaping sucks. Either something breaks, or now magically comes up missing. So I'm tired of it. I'm not going to keep spending money with the same outcome every time.

You're having a bad day mate, not made better by some of the replies which -- while they may be true -- are what they are. You aren't going to quit or you wouldn't be posting here. You're venting, and possibly looking for people to go "No don't... here.."

I'm not going to do that, but I can treat you as a mate having a bad day. Once you've had a bit to cool off, I'd suggest readjusting your expectations. Anything can go missing, the only difference is whether it's an $8 pack of stinkies or a $150 setup. If you can't afford your $150 setup to go missing or break when you take it out, don't take out a $150 investment -- and maybe don't have an $150 investment at all. What's "perfect" for you isn't always realistic based on your budget or needing backups. You'll get over this, and this'll be a story you tell to vapers when they're weighting the pros and cons of setups.

I kindof agree with Andria. If you think breaking and poor performance are your bad luck , it was really really bad 5 years ago. IMO, buy a few cheap set ups that work great like an Ego or Spinner VV and a few aspire atomizers . Much less investment, great value, works great, and not too serious if you lose one. My first three of these are a year old and still in use. With your luck , don't bother with a Provari. :p

im pretty sure your vape gear 'magically' dissapearing isnt vapings fault. id feel more apologetic if there were vaping fairies that existed that randomly stole vaping gear from people. tbh i dont think anyone on this forum cares if you vape or not, as long as you arent going back to cigarettes. so i really see no point in this post since the only thing youre stating is that your crap dissapeared and you're done because probably
1. you think vaping is too expensive
2. you want people to give you attention and make you not quit.

This is always why my stuff goes on my dresser at night and I never set it down in random places. I've got a section of the coffee table too where my stuff goes when I'm home and not using it at the moment. It's expensive. I'm not going to set it down somewhere where it may get taken or moved by someone else. I'm not gonna carry it around in wal-mart and set it down on a TV then complain when someone takes it.
Be more responsible with your stuff and it won't go missing. Unless you've got a roommate with sticky fingers or something you haven't told us then not losing your stuff is on you. If someone's stealing your stuff go get it back or call the cops or something.
If I'm going somewhere for a little while, like shopping, I only bring as much as I can put in the little sleeve on the visor in the car or in my pocket at a store. If I'm going out to a friend's or somewhere where I'll be there awhile, I stick enough stuff to get me by in my glasses case or one of my evod starter kit boxes and put it down somewhere safe and out of the way at their place. And if i'm not expecting to be out a long time but end up being out a long time, then at the least I'll put it in the console between the front seats of the car. I know you shouldn't leave valuables in your car, but at the very least I know where the thing is for that period of time.

That said. I do know how frustrating losing stuff can be, but maybe it's just warnings to change how you behave with your stuff.

Just don't start smoking again. That's counter productive and kind of stupid considering you've quit and are just having a bad few days. .... gets better. Hang in there.

If ghosts exist, I'm sure they don't vape. Try to retrace what you did before you lost your gear, who had access to it, who came to visit, where did you go?

Don't be a willing victim (if someone took your things from inside your home), get to the bottom of it and take care of the problem. Obviously whomever took it doesn't have your best health interest at heart. Today is your vape equipment, tomorrow is your credit cards, cash, car...

Good luck to you and hope things get better.
