I've gone from Iclear16's, to CE4's/5's, to T3 & T3S's to Protank 3's and nautilus. So far, for me, the nautilus' give me the best flavor and vapor production but they fall just short of the level I am seeking to achieve. Running these all on Itaste MVP 2.0, VV 3.0's and soon a sigelei 20W. But before I drop the money on an IBTanked I'd like to try a couple Cartomizers to see which one I like the best, brand, ohm's, single/dual coil, flavor, vapor production, etc. Where can I purc'shase a couple single cartomizers (non punched) at a decent price including shipping to see if a CartoTank will be right for me?

What brands do you think I should try out? What Ohm's? If I do like them, when I get my IBTanked, I'll be getting the XL tube, should I go for slotted over round for better wicking?

People often recommend using a carto solo prior to buying a cartotank, but there really is no comparison IMHO. The cartotank is superior to a solo carto in every way.

The problem with using cartos solo is you can't see how much juice is in the carto (metal tube, right?). People often allow the carto to run dry and the wick becomes burnt. Then people think cartos suck because it tastes burnt.

Using a pre-punched carto in a tank (cartotank, right?), it eliminates the above problem. Each time you take a puff, it feeds juice to the carto to keep it adequately filled.

For regulated mods like the iTastes, you'll want a standard or high resistance single coil cartomizer. (2.0 to 3.0 ohm) This will allow you the widest range of voltage to use.

I use Ikenvape Platinum standard resistance punched in my IBTanks. When not available, I use Smoktech 3.0 ohm single coils. I find two laser-drilled holes work fine for all of my e-liquids. The most important step with cartomizers/cartotanks is to completely and adequately fill the wick so that it is totally saturated.
