Thinking about vaping unflavored e-liquid

I'm thinking about using flavor less liquid in my tanks when I'm on the go. If all I need to do is stave off nicotine cravings then why not? I can always enjoy juices I like in a dripper at home.

Has anyone else tried this?

I see that ecblend sells unflavored juice but it costs the same as their other juice. I'm sure someone else could sell no flavor nicotine juice for cheaper, right?

I have been using unflavored 24/7 since I joined here. I get it from WizardLabs now, but it will taste different @ different places, so shop around w/ small samples to try...

Some flavored people throw on a tankful between flavors to clear out the flavor and their palette.

I'm not sure I'm understanding you point about why flavors are better for home and unflavored would be a better choice for on the road. The point of why a lot of us choose unflavored is because you can get sick of chasing flavors period.

Unfortunately most places that sell pre-mixed liquids tend to sell unflavored at the same rate as their flavored stuff. But if that's what you are looking for Mt. Baker usually has it's unflavored stuff on sale at $29.99 for a 236 ml bottle where you picked your premixed nic level of choice.

The cheapest option would be heading for a place that sells DIY stuff, getting a high nic (100 mg) base and mixing it down to your nic level of choice by mixing it with 0 mg PG and/or VG. But that involves safety precautions dealing with high mg nic, some basic mixing equipment, and willingness to do the measuring and math.

I usually buy unflavored nicotine base from Wizard Labs and they do a really good job.
Last week I decided to try Nude Nicotine because I could get the unflavored base in my preferred 70/30 VG to PG mix and save a little time.
I was very happy with their service.
Here is what I paid.

I have not tried it yet because I have not had time to dilute it down to the 9-10 mg/ml that I use.
I have been using un flavored 90% of the time for about 4 months and have been satisfied with it.

to ecf aje742. So glad you are here. I am one of many that love unflavored juice. Sometimes I like a change but that's why you have more than one pv. You should consider getting into the DIY side of vaping. Not only is it incredibly easy (I'm proof of that one), but it saves so much money. Higher vg is nearly flavorless with more vapor production. Higher pg has a sweet taste with a bit of throat hit. The higher you go with nicotine it gets a little "spicy" or "peppery" for lack of a better term. My experience with multiple vendors is non-existent. Until my next shipment from bullcity. Very pleased so far with the nicotine I got from wizard labs that I mix for some DIY sauces. It is a 36mg/ml 100%vg mix.

I use unflavored at 36mg/ml I like it and don't worry that there's no discount for lack of added flavor. My B&M doesn't charge extra for the high nic content and I don't ask for a flavor free discount.

I've been vaping unflavored for a bit now and I'm enjoying it. I feel like the beauty of the vaping unflavored is that if you want to add flavor, you can mix in it in small amounts of another mix for a mellow vape, say for dripping. A high VG unflavored mix is slightly sweet, but very neutral. Right now I have a KFL filled with it, vaping on it for the past week.

DIY unflavored will definitely be the cheapest. I've tried that, but I also bought a bottle of unflavored mix from Velvet Cloud Vapor to compare, they do a mix with distilled water, works great in a RTA. It's pretty cheap, they sell it in either a 120ml or 500ml, price difference depending on nic. Check it out if you're not really interested in mixing your own.

I just paid about $21 for 500ml of 24mg 50/50 at myfreedomsmokes.com. Available in other strengths and pg/vg ratios. A summer special. Considering I pay $5 minimum for 15ml flavored, this works out to about $0.60 per 15ml. Buy a few bottles or use old bottles and you are set!

ETA: I also bought a liter of 100mg nicotine for about $50, which is even cheaper, but you have to think a little and do some mixing with PG and VG at about $7 per liter. If you mix 100ml of diluted base at a time, you can put it in their 125ml bottles. The math is such that you determine the strength and then put that much, in terms of ml, in the final mix, and then the balance (to fill to 100ml), with PG and VG according to the mix you want. For example, if you put 24ml of 100mg into a 100ml graduated cylinder, then fill the balance with PG/VG, you get 24mg juice. If you use 18ml of 100mg concentrate then you get 18mg final juice. There is a software app (eJuice Me Up) to work out the mix ratios.

My ADV: 90% VG, 10% distilled water, 33 mg/ml nicotine. Cost: <$0.02/ml. I not only like the flavor (very mild) and the price (ridiculously cheap), but I also get a lot more use out of my coils before they gunk up. But you do need to go DIY to get it that cheap.

I'm not sure if I feel comfortable going 100% DIY yet. I think I'll stick with purchasing everything pre-mixed at 6mg nic strength. And I'll probably do 50/50 or 70/30 pg to vg.
