So i've been doing some looky looks at things and decided that I want to purchase something a little bigger than what I already have. Right now I have 2 Bloog's and 2 Volts coming in the mail with a bunch of cartos and stuff. I was eyeing the Ego-T because I like the tank system. Any opinions? Or anyone else suggest something similar? Also kinda looking at the pigcig cause its big. Also what would be some good vendors to buy from like the egot?

We all recomend what we personally use, so let me add the HS Echo. It doesn't get much play anymore, but the cartos are leakproof, unlike the Ego's tanks and hold 3ml. It is a auto, so if you prefer a manual, there is the Echo-E, but its cartos only hold 2ml. I truely don't know why the Echo's aren't more popular, as they have very few problems compaired to the endless aray of Egos. I think pig cig are a bit expensive for what you get but I understand they are a solid unit.

I agree. I have an echo-e. Love it. 4.2 volts, 1300 mah battery. Cartos can be cleaned an reused 100x.

I'd use what you have coming in the mail first. See what you like and don't like about that set-up and go from there.

I personally don't like the ego-T. People have problems with them. Sometimes they leak, sometimes you get dry plastic hits. Flavor is muted. Some people have no problems, others have nothing but problems. I tried tanks and went back to cartos.

Thanks. Yeah I've read more bad things about the ego than good things. I really can't wait for my volt. So i'll be trying that out for a while as well. The echo took me a bit of looking around but wow that looks like a nice set up. Money's not a problem so now its either the echo or the cigpig. I've heard nothing but good things about the pigcig just a lil pricey.

I don't want to dissuade you. The tank part of it is no big thing. You might really like it. If you don't like it, you can always stick a carto on the battery. That's the good thing about the ego- the versatility. You can use carts/atty, tanks, drip, cartomizers, clearomizers. I have and love my ego.

I'm just saying since you have some nice kits coming in the mail, wait and see what you like/don't like about them first. You may want something bigger, or something the same size but holds more juice. You might want something with a little more power. You just never know!

Bang for the buck I am liking my eGo-T. I haven't has any major leaking issues. Have more leaking issues dripping in a carto.

I tend to pull out my tank every hour or so and wipe it down. It can get a bit slimey. I compare it to a little kids runny nose.

Once you make the puncture in the rubberized tank use a needle tip bottle or syringe to fill it and tend to have less leaking issues.

I like my Ego T. I have found that I have leaks when the tank gets near empty. If I keep it at least half full, I have no leaking problems. I also have several 510 atomizers left over for back up so that's handy. But, I am new to vaping and the Ego T is the only unit I've used other than K808's with cartomizers. So, listen to the vets, try what you have coming in first. Then you'll have a point of reference for what you like, what you don't like, and why!

My hub and I love our Ego-T's -- 2 months ago they enabled us to immediately and completely quit analogs, after 45 years of hard core smoking, never dreamed we could quit, never even tried. I also enjoy my 510-T system, lighter, sleeker, auto batteies, no button to push, more 'feminine' in public, sometimes nicer hit. But I very much doubt we would have really quit analogs if we'd started with a cig of the smaller variety. The Ego-T delivers a powerful bunch of vapor, along with a big but pleasantly cool and moist throat hit. Now we like vaping much more than we ever did smoking, there is no throat burn, we stopped coughing immediately. The tanks hold a bundle, the 1000 or 1100 mah batteries last forever. I hate cartos, they have a horrible chemical taste to me. Even the hotter feel of the 510-T's sometimes bothers me. Yes, the Ego-T's leak a little, but it's never a big problem. I just get a bunch of the cheap softer silicone caps, and slap a new one on once or twice a week. We blow out the atty's a couple times a day, I wipe the battery threads once a day with alcohol swabs before charging. We are thrilled, as we knew the real cigs were killing us, not to mention costing us a massive $520 bucks a month, but never thought we could ditch them. One day we woke up and were non-smokers, it was like magic.

I also strongly recommend the low-resistance (LR) Type B atomizers, but I found it difficult to find vendors that would replace the standards in the starter kits with LR's. Two weeks ago we got a second set from MyVaporStore, as at that time it was the only place I could find that would do an LR Type B starter kit. Also chose them because they were on the official Joyetech list. Hope this is helpful.

:2c: I just started vaping a month ago and I really enjoy it. I started with the FS ego using the Boge LR Cartomizers and I thought that was great. Last week I ordered the EGO-T starter kit and I love it. Been using it non stop for 2 days. Right now Im vaping apple and like the taste. haven't had enough experience to tell you the best way to go but the EGO-T is working for me.:2c:

I bought an ego (Joye) to start with and I quickly switched from atomizer/tank to cartos and I am very happy with that set up. I didn't have leaking issues but I did feel that it muted flavor a bit. Also, for testing out new flavors the old flavors tended to linger too long, so for testing I got a 306 atomizer for my ego battery and I drip them. I am now waiting for a minilavatube to come in the mail. Can't wait!

If what your using is a volt, its 3.7V. So going to an eGo, while its a bigger battery, it would actually kind of be downgrading in voltage since the eGo is only 3.3-3.4V. And personally, I think the eGo tanks suck. They dull flavor and TH, not to mention can be very finicky and leak a lot.
If you want something similar to an eGo, check out the kGo, E-Power, or newer Rivas. All are 3.7V and have 510 connections. Their all great PVs and personally i think they give a better vape than an eGo. Their all very affordable and will give you what your looking for.
Personally I like the kGo and E-Power. I use an E-Power and like it the most because it uses non-proprietary batteries. E-Power batts cost $4-5 compared to eGo/Riva/kGo batteries that cost $14-20, plus they last longer before they need to be replaced. Also everything is replaceable on the E-Power so its cheaper to maintain. The batteries are 1050mah and I get a day to a day and a half on one battery. If I hadnt bought an E-Power I def would have gotten a kGo. The kGo gives a great vape and the batteries are 1100mah so they last a long time.

I would def consider one of those over an eGo
