Dang we didn't even make that list of 5's.....I've been in Jersey...place made me feel like I needed a shower right after I'd showered.....Ohio.....'85 Chevy dually towing a horse trailer....coldest I've ever been in my life...Maryland.....I ain't ahhh ever going back there....HammerJacks in Baltimore was kinda OK though.....I got werk to do sos we can git on that list....

You may remember me mentioning my best old buddy's wife having the pancreatic cancer and such...Last year they gave her six months....Ultrasound today says the tumors in her liver have shrunken slightly....We're stoked and will continue our battle until we win this fight.....

On that front I read some things last evening concerning "brown spotted" bananas...Seems the ripe bananas have a chemical in them that thwarts cancer cell growth....

Things down on the farm have settled into a nice easy pace...I don't try and kill myself as much when it's 10* out there...100* is fine 10* ain't cutting it...Thinking about cutting out too the beach house and working there a short bit...I got too get ahh chipping on that stone....

Thought about the old guy with emphysema this evening....The one whom had too special order his 100% VG juice from the Myrtle Beach B&M...Yeah the place that brags on their juice...I mixed 480mls tonight....The Haze is now at 8%,3% and 1%...My suspicions the Hypnotic was actually Hypnotic have increased....Sure tastes and acts like liquor too me....

I had an old guy in the store asking me about Marie Calendar dinners. They were 5 for $10.00. He was Asian and having trouble understanding each other. Anyway he asks which ones he can get. I told him any of them. They're all the same. Then I had to explain how to cook them in the microwave and for how long. Poor guy was going to put them in the oven box and all. Anyway I finally got him straightened out and told him if he needed anymore help I would help him.

LD when I was a little yonker we drove from here to New York and then to New Jersey. My older brother just enlisted and we all took him accross the US to catch a plane to Germany. I still remember going through downtown New York. You couldn't give me that place. We picked up a turtle crossing the road in Hampton on our way to the airport. There was hundreds of them on the road about the size of a cantaloupe. Anyway we named him Hamton for where we found him and took him home to WA. Lived outside, never ran off and was there for many yrs.

Morning everyone! Gray and misty here, turning to rain later. It's not too chilly, with a high of 58* predicted. Cold front will put the hammer on us tomorrow tho.

Dee and 5, like yall, I've been thru many a state and each one has it's own beauty and beast. I've seen some gorgeous rural areas in upstate New York, but NYC has no appeal to me. NJ is the same...I'll take the rural area any day. I think one of the nastiest cities I've ever rolled thru has to be Pittsburg, with Cleveland Ohio being a very close second on that list. Even my old stomping grounds in Memphis has suffered the urban blight that comes with generations of poverty and gang wars.

With good folks like you both reaching out to help others, just random acts of kindness...you have no idea how it touches the lives of those receivers and gives them hope to reach for another day

Yeah Bov sometimes there's no choice but too soldier on....My strength came not from lifting weights but from picking myself back up after being knocked down.....

Downtown St. Louis was the dirtiest place I've encountered...Inner city smog and littered with trash....I'm a Country Boy...That's how it will always be....

Getting ready too hoof it too the beach....I'll stay as long as that dang phone don't ring....

Leaving that Haze alone until it's had a minute too "meld"....El Dee bonics for steeping....Got some FA Coconut mixed for the first time...Hoping that works for me....Gonna experiment with the "herpes" watermelon a bit before it circles the drain...I got Vape Wizard and gonna try a dash of vinegar with it as well...Flavor was spot on JR Watermelon...Not that I'm a fan but variety ain't so bad....Scabby lips ain't really cool though.....

Moon, I have seen that beautiful video before, but it still touches and inspires me! Thank you for posting it :)

Dee, I haven't been to St Louis since I was about 12, but when we used to go visit my great aunt there she lived in an incredible old restored building. Her apartment was huge, and the architecture was a beautiful sight to behold. She was the Directer of Nursing at a very old mental institute, the apartment building was on the institute grounds where much of the staff lived. I still remember her parlor, the marble columns, the crown molding! Her sun room had stained glass windows :) What memories I have of that gorgeous place, so steeped in history!

Inner city...yeah it was a dump even then, but I think most inner cities are the worst parts.

Oh how I enjoyed catching up here today! I loved seeing what you all thought of our local areas. Oh there are certainly some areas of NJ that will skeeve the pee out of ya, and I won't even drive through them!!! Then there's other places that are just to die for beautiful, and a lot of in betweens too.

NYC, is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

I've been to MD once, and that was when we vacationed in DE. That was at the beach.....need I say more? LOVE me some BEACHES!!!

I lived in PA for about 4 years early in my marriage.

Other than flying to FLA then driving back, that's all I've seen of our South Eastern states. I didn't care much for FLA....too dang hot (this was Oct!) and rained some nearly every afternoon....what's up with that?

Onto other things, my local mall is advertising a new Vape store. OMG are you kidding me?!? I've been dying for a brick and mortar nearby!!! Today I took a look. It's actually a kiosk for the holidays but when talking to the guy running/working it he tells me the actual B&M is located not too far away in PA. They are selling some decent eGo kits and clearos. They are also selling 12 mg nic juice (which he calls "oils"???) and also some with caffeine???? What?!? My friend from the jewelry store saw me out there and ran up behind me asking me to show him my PV. You should have seen his face!!!! He said, "Oh, that's serious!" and my friend said, "she don't mess around!" hahaha
We actually had a nice conversation and I taught him a few things. Go figure?! Was a lot of fun!

I will be going back there soon and may just pick something up. I am taking a Notcigs card to my friend at the jewelery store. She loves my BP!!!

Oh man!!! It looks like both Saturday and Sunday here. Plthhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!~

ElDee, I wanted to add that I am very happy that your friends wife is doing better than anticipated. :) Will keep her in my prayers.
I too have adjusted your PH mix to 8%, 3% and 1%, and have 60 mls of it steeping away now!!! I need to order some Protank coils as I am down to just 2 left...yikes! That's the main reason why I ran to the kiosk, hoping they'd have some. NOT!

Love your story about the kiosk Tracy! I've had about the same experience with our mall kiosk guy too, but that was prolly 2 years ago. Poor kid was clueless, and it was just a paycheck for him. I have more fun at my local tobacco shop where they sell the typical Blu starters but not much more. They love my BP but say that they haven't had enough interest in e cigs to carry any mods...yes I tried to hook them up with Notcigs ;) They don't sell any juice or accessories, the closest vape shop to me is in Hartford somewhere.

I just had round 2 with my car insurance. Earlier in Oct I called them to get AH dropped off my policy and they refused to do so because we are still married. I told them he was in prison, and they said they would have an underwriter get back to me...yeah, didn't happen. I just got my bill for renewal due in January and my rate has gone up. That was enough to really piss off this southern gal!! I called them back and politely told the young lady that I was not going to get off the phone until this was fixed. It ain't her fault that someone dropped the ball, but it is her job to fix it! End results...rate reduced, AH off the policy, and happy Debi thanked the young lady for her time, for making sure it was updated in their computer system, for working nights, and happy holidays LOL

While she was working on the changes, I was getting quotes from other companies...no cheaper rates for me than the company I'm already with.
