I love sunny days but I like cold. Springtime is my fave weather. Me and heat just don't go together. My normal body temp is over 99º so that might have something to do with it. Seems like getting warm is easier to do than getting cool. mod is right though both cold and hot are easier in a dryer climate so maybe it's not the heat that I don't like but the humidity instead.

I'm with you Tracy, sleep is high on my priority list. And anyone who tries to stop me from my afternoon nap is asking for trouble lol. I take benadryl at night, along with xanax. Once that combo kicks in, I'm out for the count! But like John said, one of the reasons for the nightly dose is because I have the same problem of sleeping for an hour or two and then waking up. But it also leaves me with that benadryl hangover, so make a path and make it wide to the coffee pot when I get up

Wharf are ya getting old? I thought you Cali folks thrived on the heat ;)

What a terrible evening. I went through 15ml. of juice to fill a 6ml tank. First I grabed it by the tank and the Buzz got stuck in the holder. 1 tankful gone. Then I was fiddling with the tip and pulled it off again. 2 tankfulls gone. As if that wasn't enough I was trying to get the carto venting better and yep...3 tankfulls gone. I did finally fill it, put it down and I'm not touching it until the tank seals to the carto. Talk about stupid.

Bov,
I'm sorry to hear of your friends Mom's passing. :( I take Zyrtec at night for allergies, and it kicks my ....! Out like a light!

My basement's floor stays dry for the most part but it's seeping in the wall. I need to wire brush it, scrub with bleach and reseal it with dryloc. There is what my ex hubs (the mason) calls effervesence? Anyways, it's just yet another PITA of home ownership to deal with. Plthhhhhh!!

Hummm, couldn't sleep this morning and was sitting here trying to think if I actually know anybody who has a basement and I came to the conclusion that I don't.

Here in the Deep Piney Woods of Yeast Texas - right close to the Louisiana line, most people build their houses up from piers (or slabs if they are on high ground) and we just don't have basements. Around the bottom of the house we have concrete stuff that looks like wood painted white and across the back there is a heavy gauge chicken wire. That keeps the armadillo's, raccoons, Bigfoot and other varmints from getting under the house.

Yesterday I didn't bail out a basement or dig any ditches in driveways ... but I did give one of our dogs a bath. On orders from my wife who I suspect might be a decedent of Bov's m-i-l. She can come up with equally weird ideas. Like bathing a giant breed of Airedale who is easily large enough that he could give ME a bath.

Now its been hot and humid (going up to 97 this next week) and doggy dearest likes to get into the pond closest to the house and cool off. And that's fine but right now there is algae on the pond and doggy dearest ends up with this odor that the average Sewage Treatment Plant couldn't cover up.

I made one feeble attempt to get out of it by offering to give my wife a bath instead and when she got done beating me up I went out and gave the danged huge dog a bath. I'll never give my wife a pipe wrench for her birthday again! Darned things hurt!

So I bathed the dog and the dog bathed me and when I was done I went out and did some minor repair work on my tractor. The good news is that I didn't make the problem with the tractor any worse than it was to start with so I can live with that. I mean after all, that's why God made people like El Dee and Mark. The stupidist thing anybody can give me for a present is a tool. I'm just going to break something with it.

And now next week is Father's Day. I hate it. All those cards and letters coming in from all over the world clog up my mailbox for days on end!

LOL, I think I need to try to go back to sleep ...

Aw 5c I'm sorry you went through so much juice! Learning curves. ;)

TT, I enjoyed your dog bathing story! Speaking of which, my pom needs a bath and a haircut. The beautician in me just cannot justify paying $35 - $50 for grooming expenses, so she gets a DIY from me. haha This dog has never been to the groomer, but my last pom went a couple of times. Her last haircut there was pitiful and the poor dog knew it. She hung her head in shame until it grew out. (Really!) That was it for me, no more grooming appointments ever.

Good morning all!!

Tracy, I'm glad Joc made it home safely...That I95 ain't the safest for sure....

TT.....Spike needs a bath...If you can work it in......10lbs so you won't have much trouble....

Five....Sometimes the tank is an all or nothing kind of thing...Trying a small venting adjustment and it's stuck right there....like concrete....then when it gives way it comes flying off...This only happens on a fresh fill BTW....Another reason I like the Pro Tank....my new Iken tanks should be here in the morrow....

88* and the ground is like a soaked sponge...Saying it's humid out there is an understatement of epic proportions...Sweat city...

I went down and pulled the leaning post from the boat...Marine grade 1 1/4 aluminum tube and bent to high hades...A forklift got it...Personally I can't fathom how a fork lift made contact with it or why the owner just doesn't order a new one...New boat....trashed leaning post/seat????I fought with that thing a good 4 hours and am happy to report all 4 legs now contact the floor at the same time...The richy, rich owner?????? He offered my work in trade for goods from the store...I'm good with that and two nice fishing rods will be exchanged for that dang leaning post tomorrow...Still I laugh at rich people who are so dang tight with that cash...Can't take it with you Bro.....

Oh bov you have no idea how prissy my other pom was!!! Her name was Precious "Priscilla", and I used to call her "Prissy B*tch!" hahaha Your choice of words couldn't have been a more perfect fit!! But that dog loved me and I loved her, and miss her and my Sheba the German Shepard so much.
Bella got her bath and haircut this am and is walking around thinking she is hot shiz now. Still need to do her nails and give her a final brushing and spritz with her foo foo spray. (another priss in the making! haha) I need to dig out her little bandana and put some tea tree oil drops on it to help shoo away any fleas. I already told y'all how much 908 hates bugs!!! The one exception to that are ladybugs. :)

Thanks ElDee!! Joc is full of stories about "how nice the people are down south". ;) She just couldn't get over it. She even spoke with that southern twang when repeating some of the things said to her. Too cute! She had a great time.

Good job on that twisted boat pole! Shaking my head about the richy rich owner. You are so right about not being able to take it with ya!!! I know you'll enjoy those fishing rods though!!!

Good Sunday afternoon. Try to have a good one.

Good afternoon Lilac!!!! Warming up here today. It's 77 right now, and pretty nice out! I took Maddie to get 2 little water frogs for our tank and we stopped at Mickey D's for lunch. Her choice, not mine! The older girls should be home soon and might go swimming.
