So I finally jumped into DIY a week or so ago. I am 15 flavors in, 1 was a single flavor, and the rest we 2-5. So far, not a single flavor has been bad and I haven't followed any recipe. I just smell the flavor for a rough guess at concentration and then mix. A couple flavors have needed a little tweaking (the apple pie wasnt quite apple enough), but overall its about as simple as cooking.

Few of the creations:
Apple Pie V1
Apple Pie V2
Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin Milkshake
Raspberry Cream
Strawberry Vanilla Custard
Blueberry Crumble

I will say, I probably need to start documenting the mixes, but I am impressed with how easy this is. And in the long run can save me a good deal since I vape 12-20 ML a day, it was getting expensive buying it premade.

Or wait till you sit and think this is good but not quite off the hook now how do I make it better. The holly grail sort of speak lol. Then the chase is on  Anyway it sure is a good feeling t make something yourself huh. I think you will find out that the juices you made up will even get better after they steep :vapor:

I love DIY! I am one of the ones that like a very light flavor. I usually just use about 5 percent. In my Kayfuns that is more than enough for me. I just mixed up 300 ml of liquid that would have cost me 75 dollars if I had bought it premade. Probably cost me about 3 bucks to do it on my own. Sure it takes time but I always make enough for a month and Im good to go.

I know!! It much easier than people think....though it does get complicated depending on the types of flavors you use.

There is a program I found I am using the formulate juice and it lets you save your mixes it also has a ton of recipes in the folder.

It's actually a pretty good program at least for me.

$3 for 300 ml?? how?

I am just figuring what it cost me for about 500 ml of juice, flavor, Nicotine, etc....that was $32 or so.

where are ya cutting the cost the most at?

Input your cost factors into the ejuice calculator and it will give you exact costs

I use this app on my tablet called eLiquid Recipe Manager Pro and it figures an estimated cost on your mixes. Depending on the flavor, I can make 300 ml for somewhere in the range of $13 to $15. I get my nic, PG, and VG from Wizard Labs, my flavors come from a variety of vendors.

300ml cost's me about $25.00 - $35.00 to make depending on what it is I'm making. I guess you can do it cheaper if you buy large quantities and cheap flavorings in quart size bottles but I prefer to spend a bit extra and get quality ingredients and the more expensive flavorings. What good is going cheap if you don't enjoy it.

As far as $3.00 per 300ml I don't see how that's possible and still use quality ingredients..... This is unless you don't mix with NIC but even then I don't see $3.00 per 300ml...

If you go unflavored, with $40/gallon for PG/VG, $50/liter for 100 mg base, and 10% water (let's call this free for simplicity), you can make 10 mg/ml juice for $0.013 per ml. For 300 ml, that would be $3.90. This ignores shipping and equipment costs, since free shipping can often be gotten, and for equipment you could get by with a couple of disposable syringes and left over bottles from pre-made juice. If you jump on the ED deal of a gallon each of PG and VG for $60, it goes down to $0.011/ml, or $3.30 for 300 ml.

Of course that is using sale prices, which are not always available, and free shipping is not always an option. Flavorings can add about $0.05 per ml. Still dirt cheap compared to pre-made, no matter how you slice it. And of course nic concentration affects the cost, so for anything other than 10 mg/ml, the cost would change. Finally, this also assumes buying in bulk, so you need to be ready to throw down at least $110 at one time and be ready to use 10,000 ml of juice.
