hopefully by now we all know how to teabag mod a CE2 cartomizer

the ony thing i did different with these steps, is instead of using tweezers i used the needle from my 3ml syringe to pull up the wicks, and to push the wicks back down. i used a straw cut in moon shape wich made tucking the remaining wicks back down to the side for the teabag strips to be slid in place.

now the remainder of this post was from me in the new members forum (till i got 5 posts) this part of the mod keeps the 3 seals, but makes it easy to pull out and fill along side of the tea bags -- been using this mod with NO LEAKS for over a month now and i put my inferno in and out of my jacket pockets

hope ya all find this usefull -- this is what i use today
a while back Royal Smokers had some sort of contest

Royal Smokers E2 V4 Cartomizer Contest!!
We like this new technology!
But, without dripping...we need to fill with a syringe or bottle.

Who can come up with a simple way to fill them?
Like the Condom Method that works so easily and quickly for regular Cartomizers.

The best idea that works will win $100.00 worth of product from Clouds of Vapor of your choice.

This contest will run until it is won! No time limit!

the BEST solution for me was by member HAIRBALL
I take all 3 rings out. The 3rd one can be a little stubborn but it will come out. I fill by dripping juice down the sides until it reaches just under the edge of the top of the ceramic cup (you can see it when it's full). I replace only the flat "O" ring and the mouth piece. The 3rd cup looking type ring hits the trash. I don't have a problems with leaking as the 2nd ring you take out fits back in snuggly. I use a small precission screwdriver to remove all of these. This works the best for me on the go. I don't have time for syringes while I'm at work.
ok, but i always keep my inferno in my pocket on the go and i was still getting some leaks and mouth fulls of flavor and why would i throw anything away yet alone the main 3rd seal with its fancy notches that are a pain to put back on?

here is my solution

1) - take apart your 3 rings like hairball suggested (and while its apart -- might aswell do a tea-bag mod to replace the standard wick

(the white one is ring#1 - the skinny one is ring#2 -- the notched one is ring#3)
first 3 rings.jpg

2) after the optional tea-bag mod -- we NEED to keep ring#3 but make it easy to fill --- so lets cut it down so its narrow --- cutting with pair of scissors works just below the notches -- we dont need these notches ----

final_cut.jpg

ok -- so my cut is not perfect (and prolly does not need to be -- you can cut it as straight as you want, but i think this way does act as a CATCH incase the element gets flooded -- notice i did not touch the center groove in seal

3) -- lets fill up your cartomizer with no seals in it

4) -- put ring #2 (skinny ring with bevel) first ---- make sure the bevel is facing toward the element

5) -- put your modified ring #3 in -- BUT PUT IT IN UPSIDE DOWN -- so that the flat end is against the ring #2 and the open grooves are up toward mouthpiece

final_cart.jpg
6) -- put ring #1 in -- push it down a bit -- this will mesh all 3 rings togetherand leave NO AIR COLLECTION CHAMBER -- nice tight seal

i have used this modified method for over a week -- love it, to fill it back up -- take out the 3 rings and fill along side -- then place it back same way and vape away

and no more flooded juice in my mouth :vapor:

hope this helps some folks -- not bad for a newbie member like myself :vapor:

I have been using CE2's since October and have not even attempted to go back to atomizers and those damn carts. I have not even had a need to mod them other than the bd syringe mod, which I still do with the clear ones because the sleeve they come with sucks and breaks on me consistently. They seem to wick too much juice (especially when they haven't been cleaned in a while). But I am diggin what you have to say here.

I use a drip tip instead of ring #1, have you tried it that way? I am wondering why ring #3 is upside down and in the middle. Do you have any input on that? When cut, I would think that it would be just as easy to remove. Either way I am going into the garage to try this out, right now.

i do this because i cant cut a straight line -- putting ring #3 in the middle with the flat edge down towards ring #2 is just a MIND GAME for me -- provides more seal area by keeping the first two seals by the coil flush against eachother :)

again, i have had no leaks the cut on #3 is only so ring #1 can push (squeeze) it all together, it is not a precise cut

i have used the black plastic tip with clearomizers instead of the white one -- not really a drip tip -- sure it will work -- just cut ring #3 so that the height so your drip tip pushes everything together -- the way i cut them buy the notches works for white tips -- adjust accordingly

Well, it has been working pretty good for me so far (about an hour). I am using an extra ring #2 bevel up because my bd syringe is taller than it should be and I don't like space in between my drip tip. No leaks, easy to fill and pretty simple.

yea i guess you could put the beveled end up -- i just keep the beveled end down toward the coil so that more air is between the coil and seal (less chance of melting) wich i have never melted
one yet --- and i remove ALL THREE SEALS when i fill up -- no hassle of small needle

You could try using the volcano magma XL clearomizers. I haven't had any issues with modding them into pretty decent tanks and it vapes like a beast!

though i like volcano products and use my inferno like no tommorow, the cartos and clearomizersers there (unless listed as LR) are 2.6 - 2.8ohm -- i prever 2.4 ohm or lower

cool mod, I am trying to get some ce2 xl, I cant find them anywhere!!!!!
yea these XL i think are going out of style -- i think re-sellers are preparing shelf room for the 3.7ml giantomizers -- but hunt around -- there is some around in the suppliers forum

thanks again for everybodys feedback
