I didn't intend on quitting, just less smoke around kids stinky clothes/etc.
Surprise surprise I went down to 1-2 a day for several weeks, and I haven't had one in over a month.

Mom came to visit and it would have been easy to bum a single smoke (the few times i've really wanted one I went "why buy a pack?" ) but I really didn't want one....
Then I had to deal with my ex. making my 3rd court appearance next week.
He blatantly disregarded order to mediate and didn't show up (it's a really funny story honestly)
he thinks he's absolutely in the right, which he always is, and he's being a real jerk....as usual.

We are asking for fees that will come close to his yearly takehome

And I kinda want a smoke. Bad :(

Ah don't do it. I quit accidentally, I thought of it as switching brands. I am vaping only, it is nicotine that you need, but you take it in a bit slower I think with vaping. I would suggest getting a stronger juice or even a strong carto. I know many people don't like the Kr808 but I find it is the closest to a cigarette. I think the greensmoke taste great and I keep them on hand for those I want one moments. Sorry to hear you are going through a tough spot with the ex. I hope you don't give in and smoke... I doubt he is worth it.

I know exactly what you mean, I had a phone conversation with my lawyer last week. That led to a really long crying/screaming bout, followed by chain smoking 3 cigarettes in a row. After all that and posting about it and getting virtual hugs, it still sucked. Good luck!

Check out this thread, those of us who still smoke while vaping are a great bunch!!

Basylica, your ex is a vaper too?
Nah, ex has never smoked a cig in his life.
Proverb- started high and dropped down to 18mg. Nic seems fine, just ex über stressing me.

Ex believes he did nothing wrong by not showing up to mediation that was agreed and signed by judge and lied to mediator and even asked for directions then 2+ hrs later said " I'm at work, I can't afford the 1k fee" when I called him w/ med listening. She's married to judge in same court as our judge is. She was ...... and wrote a letter to our judge.
I suspect even if she slaps him about he won't learn his lesson and will just blame me.

On positive note we've asked he pay both mediation fees (1k per, so 2k) my legal for that day (1.5k) my legal for next court date (1.5k) a court appointed fine, and 100% of any added mediation (2k)

Which means that added to his legal will make his "I can't afford" bs cost him around 10k
His take home after tax and child support is. 1k/mth
What a idiot...sheesh

I agree with Iffy ^^^. Hang in and vape as much as you need to to get past the smoke urges. And if you do have one, don't beat up on yourself for it. The ones you didn't have are way more important than the ones you did!

True that! But now I have further incentive. If you've smoked in last 90 days the company charges you an extra 50/mth for insurance. I have 60 days to go!

Not only am I saving 9/pk, about 5pk a week, but soon 50/mth!

I like the the 808! Auto. But I do like a lot of different things. Love the size and weight and it works fine with certain juices that are stronger so flavor doesnt get muted Cartos mute flavor is all. Love the Kanger bottom coil cartos with these. They come in 808.

I give you major props for holding out, you may have far more willpower then I do. I smoked for about 22 - 23 years. Vaping for the last three months has helped greatly get me off smokes and I have not smoked an analog yet. However, there has not been a day go by that I don't think about smoking a cigarette and how bad I want one. If faced with such a time I don't know what I would do.

You have came this far, I know you can do it. You haven't yet and that proves you have the strength.

My mom smokes menthols (decidedly wussy ones) and went to mediation with me - I flew her down partly for that but mainly because it had been a year since seeing the monsters. She was smoking and we stepped out a few times and didn't want to smoke which surprised me. I think it's the idea and the "comfort" but being around the smell was enough to dissuade me.
With her gone now and facing yet another court date plus probably another mediation and ex just being a jerk in general....making me twitchy :(
Vaping is keeping me from buying a pack however. Just funny how you'll be surprisingly ok then not as much!

I have upgraded (variable v) but I still use my little starter kit. I love taking them into restaurant for stealth vaping or for trying out new flavors. I think it just reminds me of what was such a big part of my life for so long. Whatever works. Not much I could recommend about the stress other than Xanax. You can have all your questions answered here and you also received support too. Wonderful combination. Good Luck.

If you break down and smoke a cig, don't beat yourself up over it. Its okay.

I smoke a cigarette every once in a while. Every time I do it, which is rare, it tastes nasty. Once you get use to vaping and quit for a while, you'll notice that cigs don't taste very good anymore.

Ps. We probably go to the same vape store

I smoked a few for the first couple weeks I vaped. I'd bought cigs before my first kit arrived - but now I haven't smoked in quite awhile I have this set goal now! hahaha...

I've actually only been to one B+M thus far - artisan vapors.
picked up a juice i'd have NEVER considered, but so far thats how juice has been for me. Think i'll love it and don't, don't think i'll like it and do. *shrug*
