Singapore
At the risk of being unpopular, I have to say that given my initial reaction to trying my new PV, I *fully* agree with the Singapore's stance on eCigs!

Don't get me wrong - I'm in love - all the benefits that I am physiologically/habitually addicted to and none of the negative health, cost or environmental down sides. The problem is that my reaction was not 'this will help me quit' but more 'cool!' and 'this is even better!' If I were younger - I would actively want to try an use these and would not have the health concern, restrictions on use or social stigma that might dissuade me. I can certainly see that the government identifies this as a very worrysome new and hip technological delivery system for an addictive substance. Not to mention that if it were not restricted in sale and use, that every bar in Singapore would be selling PVs and nicotine use would increase dramatically!

Personally? I've started a journey that I intend to continue - and am excited to have dumped analogues!
On a matter of policy however, I must wholehartedly agree with what Singapore have decided, despite the inconvenience to local vapers, of which I am now one!

Bro you are right in a certain way, but what i think is that if smoking is allowed, then vaping should be too. Youngsters will smoking to look cool and think they are grown ups. Now they just look cool and grown up safer and healthier. I think SG needs a nudge unit, instead of encouraging people to quit, they should encourage people to look for safer alternatives. I mean, I am an adult and I can think for myself and I don't want to quit, but I don't want to die young smoking, so i chose to vape. The Government should be more open minded, it is not all black and white. Just look at the UK government for example.
