See my earlier post. The coil in that example would burn at 9w.

I can't burn a coil with 9W it won't even get Hot.

Try building a .5Ω coil with 30ga or higher ss316l. You'll see that your normal settings for the .5Ω coils you use are way too high.I can't burn a coil with 9W it won't even get Hot.
Check steam-engine. It'll give you the numbers.@KenD nothing personal but I disagree with this and I actually don't want to debate you on it. Right now I am firing a .15Ω at 35W and pounding down the e-Liquid at about an ML an hour. But when I switch to another MOD this one uses NONE at all.
Then don't start a debate. I care about the correct information. But I've said what I had to say and proven my point. On with the scheduled programming.I really don't care buddy! The only thing I am saying is that the more you vape the e-Liquid you use. Please find someone else who would like to debate this with you.
Hey. I'm on a Kayfun lite plus V2 using a .8 ohm coil at 7.5-10 watts.3.5 ml a day ain't rippin' its tootlingIts ok I do 2-3ml a day 18 to 36 mg I call it cowboy vapin'.
Ok ok so I'm a tootle puffer it's still good

If you want throat hit raise the PG RATIO.Earlier smoking habits don't really correspond to the nic amount and liquid consumed. It's not necessarily the nicotine that was the addictive part for some individuals, and the nic from vaping is absorbed differently. For my own part I could pretty much go to 0 nic, but I like some throat hit (and I'd anyway include some nic due to the potential health effects).

Agree completelyI doubt you would get any vapor out of it at 9 watts
Well there you have a high resistance coil on a 0.5 ohm coil that's cheating'Well, you could wrap a .5 ohm coil with 30ga ss316l (1.5mm id, 4/5 wraps) that would be too hot at 9w and quite hot at 8w. Not saying that many would, but it highlights the fact that power and surface area is what we should be focusing on, not resistance. It annoys me when people talk about subohming without mentioning the other (more relevant) variables, and it may confuse new vapers by not giving them the relevant information.

Who vapes a 30 gauge 1.5 mm diameter coil at 5 wraps? Not a reasonable example to me. Most are using 26 gauge or smaller with larger diameter and high power for a .5 ohm coil.In fact, I'll post screenshots here:

Look at the numbers for heat flux.

Same here when I make coils. I bought some 3mm 1.8 ohm prewound spaced coils to try in my SXK KAyfun Mini and they did well too. I will say my Myjet pod coils are really small, maybe 1.5 mm, but they are over 1.3 ohms. All my coils are either 2 or 2.5 mm
