Yo Josh- I seriously miss grabbing that sick air. Nothing like it in the world. Really wish I could still do it.

Dave - I've been thinking about going more your speed these days. Would like to get a street legal dirt bike and maybe sneak a trail here and there and scope out a jump or maybe a nice hill climb.

Damn I miss it! :)

A contest that is!

First guy to post the answer will win two brand new Efest 18350, 800 mAh, button top batteries!

The gift for this contest is provided and shipped by: johni

Two parts, both must be correct.

1. Who did a video review for the VV Woodvil on 02/13/2012?
2. What woods were used for the VV Woodvil reviewed?

Good luck!

I was a gentleman years ago when it was in fashion, but then the women's lib movement came into fashion & I decided to quit that.
The only time I am a gentleman is with the wife who doesn't believe in women's lib. She is old fashioned as the younger generation calls it. For that matter so am I when around her.

Yep, he sure did. I love that video. I remember watching it multiple times when I was awaiting my two VV Woodvils. I love the ebony with quilted maple door and I was going for it, but I think DaveLOG had a faster connection that night. It took me almost an hour to get my two. That was a stressful night.

I did notice that the spelling was wrong! But the fact that he knew the woods used showed me that he did locate the poster and video!

X - I had the pleasure (not) of riding a I think 2000 CR 500 a few months back up here in the hard clay.

I'm not really sure I can say I rode it - I just putted it around in 2nd gear only engaging the powerband one time exiting a sandy bermed corned (that I destroy on my 125) and it nearly pulled itself out from under me. They are sick bikes. The dude that owns it is a crazy South African. He rides it like he just stole it.

I just sold my mint 01 CR 125. I miss it already :)

Good story bro. :)

You found the power band on a CR500? LOL:lol: I just found that funny - the think I liked best about the CR500 was you didn't have to find, or be in the power band to wheelie over a puddle or something - ITS ALL POWER BAND from the bottom up.

I always wanted the atc 250r, but I ended up with a 90, a 250X, and a 250 Big Red. The Big Red got traded for an 86 TRX 250r though. I really miss that quad. The RM engine was "advertised" at 51 horses though, so it was a no brainer since I have all the equipment to modify the Zook 250r frame for the RM engine. This thing is muuuuuch faster than my old Honda was. Unfortunately, I've never been good enough on 2 wheels except for my mountain bikes LOL, so I stick to quads :headbang:

Haven't been in REOville for a while, so I'm late to the party. But, I will, as others have, post roughly based on Russ' template.

I'm Jon. 25 years old. Born in raised in the suburbs of Chicago. A younger sister who is currently 17.
Half Puerto Rican, and used to be able speak Spanish fluently. I lost a bit of it, but can still hold a conversation just fine with my mother's side of the family.

Spent six years in the Air Force as Security Forces (AF's version of MP).
Was first stationed in Vegas where I met a girl and we ended up getting married. Then, I received orders to the Netherlands for four years. Left Vegas three months before my 21st birthday.

Got to the Netherlands to find it was a small base. 150 Americans, and only 50 of those cops. So, friend groups were quite close-knit. So close, in fact, that apparently it was okay for a best friend to sleep with an friend's wife. For eight months. Needless to say, I sent her packing, and I'm not bitter or anything :glare: haha.
No, really, I joke about it now, but at the time, finding out that you were cheated on in your own home was painful to say the least. The divorce was finalized a few months after she got back to Vegas.

After that, I focused on work. I hated what I did, but I was good at it. The SecDef himself told my leadership and I that I was the best and most knowledgeable person he'd ever seen at a specific job. Then, I rose through the ranks as fast as one can in the AF (which is painfully slow).

Then work started getting worse. Since I was good at what I did, a critical super-secret-squirrel job, I was working a LOT since most of the others in that position were incompetent. That was the reason I got out. Not only was I working on my own days, I was filling in for others because leadership didn't trust their abilities.

When my time came, I was asked to reenlist and simply laughed. My CC literally begged me to re-up and extend my tour there. I got out last February. :toast:

Anyhoo, back home now.
My first week back (by this point, 1-2 PAD), a buddy dragged me to a local B&M, got me set up with an eVic and an iClear 30. Few months later, joined ECF, and my wallet has hated me since.

I'm currently working at my family's auction house and starting school this August to get a degree in Human Resources.
And I'm in the happiest relationship I have ever been in.
Living with my uncle and my father for now. Saving up to use my VA Loan to buy a house hopefully within the next 18 months.

I have pretty common interests:
-Craft Beer (IPAs mostly)
-Coffee
-Tattoos (14 and counting)
-Blackhawks (more like I worship them)
-Playing my guitar
-Batman
-Video Games
-Quoting Tarantino films and Seinfeld far too much
-Doctor Who
-Reading

I really enjoy music, mostly all sub genres of rock. Mostly I enjoy post-hardcore and pop-punk, though.
Three favorite bands are the Gaslight Anthem (one inspired tattoo), Alkaline Trio (logo tattoo), and Tiger Army (another inspired tattoo).

Really into the rockabilly culture and music scene. Been trying for a year to pomp up my hair. It's getting there.
I think I should have been a teenager/20-something in the 50's.

And, I hate to say it, but like most twenty-somethings today, my phone has become an extension of my body. But, unlike most, I know when it's not appropriate to be on it haha.

So, that's pretty much me. Jonny B all summed up in one post. :)
