Eventually a black hole will come along and gobble up the Earth and we'll all become part of the dna floating around in the ether.

Ok, just when I thought humanity had reached Dumb, I now see it's got dumber.
There now seems to be no lower limit!
Not much to look forward to intelligence wise is there.

This is a soon to be eradicated topic that probably should never have lived this long. And yes, much of Humanity has failed to achieve its intended potential.

Iirc the sun will eat it first, but it will already have been destroyed by something else even before that. I got a friend who is into astronomy that likes to point these things out to me from time to time

I'm a huge science channel fan. It's good late night viewing when I want to get sleepy.

I'm a huge Science Channel fan. Years ago I owned an 8" Celestron catadioptric telescope. It was lots of fun, but as I got older it was a hassle to carry around and set up. That, and the internet is full of better pictures than what I saw through my telescope on cold dark nights.
