My first rig, an MVPv2 with its supplied iClear16 clearomizers did the trick for me. I've been smoke free for as long as the counter below says, as I type this it is over a year without so much as a single puff on a cigarette.

I'd say the first 6 months were the the most trying as for cravings, but I had no insurmountable issues putting them aside with a vape on my trusty MVP.

I will never smoke again!

Seeing these success stories makes me happy :) As many others have stated. I have tried numerous other means of quitting cigarettes (patch, gum, cold turkey. Even degraded to name calling, Telling myself I'm a lil ..... for not being able to do this. Then I met an Army recruiter who let me try out his mvp and I ordered my 1st e-cig that day. It was 1 of those ....ty ebay types with the SS mesh an top coil design (It was garbage) but it got me on the path.

Yep. Over 40 years burning tobacco. Tried many times to quit and found quitting was easy but not starting again was the hard part ;)

After several stops and starts while on a quest to quit about 6 years ago I swapped Snus and Skoal/Cope for my smokes. Kept me off them for the most part for almost five years but I still had a very strong desire to smoke. I would occasionally buy a pack and smoke a few then toss the pack to keep from finishing it. I probably smoked around 100 cigs in that 5 year period.

Bought an El-Cheapo Ego about a year ago and have not touched or even desired tobacco since.

Of course my gear has been upgraded since that CE4 but the result is the same...no more tobacco.

Yes, it finally was after trying almost everything else and failing. The Cha*** pills made me sick, so I had to quit taking them, or they may have worked, I'll never know. The patch I tried numerous times, but they never really helped. They just o'd me on nicotine. I tried the so called ecigs that they sell at the gas stations, many times, almost every brand that they made at the time. They just didn't do it. They were like smoking a wooden dowel rod and getting nothing but a nicotine rush.
A year and a half ago, my brother & sis-in-law came back on vacation. Amy had an ego with a big atty on it and several flavors of juice. I took 1 hit off hers and I knew that was the answer. When I got paid I ordered my starter kit from MadVapes. They were having a killer sale $20+ for the full 2 battery (1100 mah) kit.
I got my kit in the mail July 8, 2013. I put my cigarettes down that day and that was it. I never looked back, after smoking for 40 years,
