So, what does everyone do on those days they get up and can't seem to get a good hit, good vapor, or something else just doesn't seem to be going right on their favorite PV?

All day I've been struggling to get a good hit out of my 510 atomizer I've been using for a week now and first I thought I just didn't have it wet enough and well - after it flooded later on it's still giving me weak hits.

I thought maybe it was the PGA I used to clean out the flavor last night but then I hooked up my 801 and it's not even hitting right.

Does anyone else have days like this and what do they do to combat it?

Happens to me once in a while. I usually go through the following steps, though not necessarily in this order...

For lacking vapor/TH:
1. Switch batts.
2. Switch atties.
3. Get out the multimeter to check resistance and voltage.

For lacking flavor:
1. Switch juices (usually to something I haven't vaped in a while).
2. Clean atty.
3. Switch atties.
4. Drink some tomato juice to clean my palate (don't ask me why, but it works).
4. vape through it and hope that tomorrow is a better day.

Good advice, this. If you don't like tomato juice (I don't) then try eating a small piece of crusty bread or using mouthwash.

Sometimes I just have bad vape days. I also had bad smoking days...you know...when you kept dropping everything or you'd ash on yourself or an ember would fly back and hit you in the eye....yeah...those days. I don't miss them at all.

Momma said there'd be days like this ...

It happens to us all and then it comes back to life. I think a lot of it is centered around what's going on in your sinuses. The "smell sensor" is located at the top of your sinuses behind the top of the nose, so it is dependent upon the aroma getting there.

Something that really helped me was Flonase and it's generic counterpart, Nasonex. In addition to combating allergy reactions, it opens up the pathways to the sense of smell. It's worth a try and the generic for Nasonex is pretty cheap. Your doctor will prescribe it if you tell him that's what you want for allergic reactions to inhaled allergens and loss of sense of smell. Be firm and you will get it. There are no side effects from my experience (YMMV). Use it daily and you will begin to smell things you haven't noticed in ages (some you may wish would go away).

I had a day like that once. It was all because of this horrible e juice I got. It was in my only atty that I had and wouldn't go away no matter how many other liquids I threw on it.

For the entire day I vaped it and it was the WORST PV experience i've had thus far. Then I got my new atty the next day with a bottle of "good" juice and I was saved!

Smartass...lol!
Finally, someone understands me.
:)

Yesterday was one of those days for me. I could not get anything out of the white carts and attys. The draw was very tight with very little vapor no matter how much I fiddled with it. I switched to my black and stainless pv and it worked just fine. I don't know why
Sounds like the atomizer was/is flooded.

If you already attempted to resolve that potential issue without any luck...
Maybe your atomizer is just clogged and needs cleaning.

Every once in a while have a day with--"NO FLAVOR" :(
I switch-- batts--atty's--juice--nothing- nadda- zip.
Vapor out the wazoo--but just not much else.
Just don't get it?????????
I just--Vape ON !!!!!
The flavor seems to come back that evening or at least by next day . (Thankfully!!!!!!!!!)
Just my taste buds (or lack of same) i guess.
A day without flavor is still better than a day 'MOKIN CIGS" :)

For me it seems associated with days that I try new juices. I seem to get on runs of good or bad juices. Today was a run of terrible and I ended up frustrated. Finally found a good one and feel better. It happened the other day too, I filled up a few clearos with flavors I hadn't tried yet and ended up out for the day with nothing I liked with me. Blah. Although, that is why I like the clearos, at least I can get those flavors out of them when I don't like them. My only real problem with dripping is that if I don't vape until I get that burnt atty taste then it floods and makes a mess. That burnt atty taste really sticks to the taste buds.
