First dual coil on my magma. Looking for feedback outside of straightening up that one coil which I'm going to do when I rewick. Loving the vape off this can't wait to try more. Any suggestions on some more fairly easy starters I could try to wrap?

Looks pretty good. There are some slight gaps between the wraps on the coils. You could always try (with no wick in!) firing them and compressing with some tweezers or similar. Just don't touch the coil with metal tweezers while you're firing it. Fire it for a few seconds then let go and squeeze a little.

I usually wrap mine around a 2mm screwdriver, which looks a little smaller than whatever you've used, find it heats up a bit quicker.

You could try a parallel coil build next?

I haven't got into rebuilding just yet, waiting on my stuff to be delivered and am aiming for about .7-.8 too. And I hope my first set looks as nice as this, well done, and vape on!

Off topic: I love that quote Kickflips, a sign with that on it has been hanging in our families welding shop since I was a kid.

Ugly or not, all that matters is enjoying the vape!

True, but pretty builds tend to work better IME. I'm pretty .... about mine.

Haha, thanks. I'm not a fan of baseball, but Yogi is probably the most quotable person ever.

It is definitely worth it! Not only will you enjoy it, but you will save money as well! Thank you, it isn't too pretty but I don't think it's terrible for my first shot at a dual

Yeah, I like parallels in mine. Had a nice 28g parallel at 0.7 ohm that was throwing flavor like it was getting paid to. Currently running a twisted 28g at 0.8 ohm. Throwing some nice flavor out, but I think the parallel might have beaten it.

I'm usually a single coil kinda guy but you can double this if you want.

I think I will be trying a parallel for my next build, but maybe a dual twisted. On the parallels I'm afraid I might cross the wires over on accident while wrapping.

Don't worry too much. It's not hard if you're just careful. The only trick I've found is to make sure to anneal your kanthal and straighten it at the same time (with a drill and pliers if you want, I just keep tension while torching) and go slowly, pulling your legs tight when necessary.

If you do screw it up, well wire is cheap, so try again.
