I actually had never researched this one before. Kidna slipped under the radar. I was all set to order a Provari, but I would be stretching it thing right now due to being on disability from a work injury. I still plan on getting A Provari eventully. This just isn't the best time. I have read so much negative about the usual tube mods like the SID, Vamo, SVD and others. They all seem to have their own set of issues. But I haven't seen too much negative about the Tesla except people don't like the looks or button layout. The button layout isn't a deal breaker for me and I actually like the looks.

So is this a worthwhile investment that I would get around a year out of??? I have found them for $54.99.

Shhhh its a secret. ;)
I liked mine till it crapped out and was giving me errors less than 30 days of getting it... so I took the store credit and put it toward a ProVari.

My buddy who got his the same time as I did has beaten (kicked and dropped) the crap out of his and it still works like a champ.

Maybe I just got a bad unit? I loved the look feel and performance of the unit...

I have one as my at work vape, it is a very solid tube, I have dropped it many times, and just has some small scratches on it, my only real gripe with it, is the window to the display is very thin flimsy plastic, for such a solid tube, would expect a better quality window on it, but think it was worth the money for what it is.

Here is the tesla v2 looks like a nice mod but it's only for pre-order.
    Tesla V2 20 W - SweetSpotVapor

I like that they have a built-in charger. But they went to a one button design seems like a step backwards. That is one of the biggest gripes people have with some of the mods out there.

    Tap'd from my LG G2

No direct experience with the Tesla. My issue with it is that it's only 510 threaded. But it does keep drawing my eye... :)

V2, I agree, prefer the multi-button arrangement myself. But the in-tube charge also looks like it has output to charge your phone, etc. But if your topper/flavor combo wants less than 7 watts, you'd need to switch to VV mode. (Of course, that seems to be the case with most if not all the 20W devices. Raising the top end also raises the bottom end...)

I have the Tesla and love it. Had it for a little over a week and very satisfied. It takes 510 and ego threaded devices (i use both).
As stated, the only downfall is the position of the screen in relation to the buttons; however, I do not use the buttons that much (set it and forget it) so I do not consider it an issue. I love that I can lock the settings once I have them in.

Also love the fact that I can sit it down and will not roll off!!! Battery has lasted all day (came with two batteries). Finish is good and does not look like it would easily mark...

Never used the ego devices on the tesla I have, but just checked it and it does have ego threading. I do believe the TS3 would work just fine on it.

Thanks. Last time I looked at one it didn't, iirc.

May put it back on my "sometime" list :)

Just wish there were more toppers with ego threading, better mechanical connection...

AHhhh...Garemlin....bite the bullet and get a Sigelei 20 watt...you wont regret it. And...get an Atomic or Trident V2 rda for your flavor search...believe me.

Eh not sure about Sigelei with the issues with the Zmax. I really need something that will last a year until I get the Provari. Unless of course I just bite the bullet and get the P.

I was still thinking the IGO-L since most people say it is a good starter RDA. I'm not looking to become a fogging machine. Just wanna taste new flavors easily. I have read too much the Omega is kinda hard to build off of. Which Patriot would you recommend??? I have seen several.

You've already stated you don't want to spend your money more than once, so why in the world are you considering getting another "interim" mod.

The MVP is already one of the most cost effective and durable disposable mods out there at the price point. I'm sorry you got a bad one, but that happens. That's why it's great that they can be had for only 40 bucks.

Given you have mentioned that you want a device with a PROVEN track record...then you really have only two choices.

    ProVari and REO.

The REO is fully mechanical so nothing to "burn out". They are in stock at reosmods.com and some of them are below $150. If you want to go regulated, then ProVape has ProVari's starting out at $159.00.

If the Sigelei 20 Watt builds a reputation of a well built mod, then sell your REO or ProVari in 1 to 2 years and get 75% of your investment back and get the Sigelei.

I don't really care which one you buy, but if you are going to invest over a Benji, then make sure you only have to invest it once. Otherwise just stick with your MVP's until you have enough disposable income set aside so that throwing down the cash doesn't put you into a full blown panic attack.

(It took a nice IRS tax return to let me finally bite the bullet and get my ProVari....)

The issue is I have been out of work since January 28th due to a work injury. And I am in a battle with Workman's Comp because they decided to deny the claim 2 months later due to bad record keeping by our in-house medical staff and a misdiagnosis by the first specialist I went to. So outside of a small lump sum I have had no income since then and won't until my short term disability kicks in. I sold off some vape stuff to fund the Provari but just don't think it would be a good idea to spend that much right now.

I love my MVP 2. Just the battery life is less than stellar. I am barely getting 400 puff to a charge. And my VV 3.0's I'm luck to get 200. I thought not having to worry about batteries was a good idea. At the time it was. But right now all three are on charge and I have to use a cheap ego until they are done.

The only reason I am considering the Tesla is because I can get one for $45 shipped. Same as the MVP. So really I am out nothing because I sold the MVP I got replaced under warranty. And I have yet to read anything bad about it other than people not liking the button layout and the looks. Looks I really dig and the button layout doesn't bother me. Many people say they are workhorses and have had them for well over a year without issue.

One final thought is I have been hearing rumblings of a Provari 3.0. That could mean really good prices on a 2.5. It could also mean me being really ...... off if I got a 2.5 now and 3 months later a 3.0 comes out. From the way it sounds the Tesla will last me until next year when I will be more comfortable swinging the Provari. It will strictly be my stay at home daily driver and the MVP will be for travel. Also bought a Kamry K101 for dripping.

The Provari will happen. Just not now. The way I look at it, it will be an awesome 2 year smoke free anniversary present. Hell I might even spring for a regular and a mini.

No worries. If you can get the Tesla and you can price match it, then knock yourself out. I thought you were getting one at $80 to $100, after which I would have had to smack you. :D
