I am presently using cartomizers. You can take the top material off, wash it, pat it "dry", then put your juice on the inner material that covers the wick, replace the outer material, add juice and put it back in the plastic cover. Just make sure you don't let the wick get dry or it will scorch, and give that "burnt" taste. I'm going to order blank/empty cartomizers, now that I've figured out they can be cleaned and reused. Once you've cleaned your cartomizer, it's amazing how much easier it is to draw! I'm getting fantastic vapor!!!

The batteries are just a rechargeable battery with a fancy looking shell...they should last 6 months or so, I would think (ok, wild guesstimate, lol) ...use them until they won't hold a charge anymore, or stop working, then pitch them....they should be cheap enuff...when I was using the small units, I had like 10 batteries that I would rotate thru...
Did you find out what thread your kit is? There may be places to get spare batteries cheaper than the place you got your kit from....

No - slim ecigs do not have removable inner batteries. The outer shell of the battery is on permanently. The are several mdoels and sizes of slim ecigs and all of their batteries cannot be taken apart. There are bigger ecigs of fat sylindrical shape with much longer charge, but those batteries are still trapped in the outer shell. Then there are various shapes called "mods" and they DO open and have removable industrial aa-ish sized (but stronger) batteries that are charged in a separate battery charger.
