So I usually vape on 3mg juice because it delivers a very satisfying throat hit (for me). But a few days ago I bought my usual 180ml bottle of juice at 3mg and I've been getting absolutely NO throat hit from it. I'm pretty lost and really don't wanna see a 180ml bottle go to waste. Please help!!

What Dan said.............Nicotine is not the enemy, I fail to understand the obsession with little or no nic

To understand this obsession, it is first necessary to understand the obsession with 100 watts, RDAs, dual Clapton coils, and max VG huge, thick, billowing clouds. :)

@ OP. Get a bottle of the same flavor in higher nic, mix together.

I care the most about throat hit, more than flavor, vapor production or nic. I use the setup described in the signature section below. So sometimes throat hit goes away regardless of 12 mg nic. Sometimes rewicking is enough. A new wick and coil almost always fixes the issue for me. Another thing that happens to me is the atomizer gets loose and retightening resolves the issue. I tried a zero nic version of my own blend and noticed there was no throat hit. But having nic doesn't garrantee throat hit for me.

We experience throat hit as a particular kind of throat irritation. But what is it exactly is it? If we knew that it would be easier to optimize for it.

It's an 80/20 VGPG

That's likely the issue right there, it's high in VG and low in nicotine content.
I get harsh throat hits with 50/50 at 6mg, where I can barely handle it. I've tasted a lot of juices with 80/20, and with 6mg I never receive throat hits of any kind. I've even had 60/40 VG to PG ratios that had no throat hit with 3mg. Next time you buy a juice, I'd up the PG a bit more.

nothing against people that vape 0 nic , but there is definitely a trend of ejuice companies not making juices higher then 12mg these days! I guess with people vaping 100 watts and using 2 pounds of metal for coils, the need for higher nic isn't as much. it doesn't bother me, but I cannot tell you how many times I go to order a new flavor and the highest nic is like 6mg. sometimes I can click 6 juices in a row that I am interested in , and cannot purchase any of them because of the nic content. maybe its a good trend because of the addictive qualities and dangerous nature of nicotine, I just wish all juices were available in percentages from 0 to 24mg.
