Throat hit with VG only?

Throat hit comes from the nicotine. PG lets more of it through while VG tends to mask it. The masking ability of VG allows people to up their nicotine levels without knocking the back of their throat out.

Additives to eliquid DO NOT provide the throat hit provided by nicotine. Some provide a burning sensation but cannot duplicate the TH from nicotine.

Nicotine provides 90+% of the throat hit in eliquid. PG allows more of it to come through and VG mutes it to a degree. If you find your 100% VG is lacking in TH, then up your nicotine level until it works for you. Nicotine is not a carcinogenic substance.

In conjunction with the hit you get from the nicotine, it might do the trick.

Agreed. The only additive I have found that provides a "throat sensation" (not to be confused with TH from nicotine) but does not irritate or burn, is menthol, to one degree or another.

As to Vg reducing TH, I find that adding a bit of distilled water to the Vg helps a lot in my DIY's. It increases the vapor production hitting the throat. Hope that helps.

I have totally experienced that cotton ball like sensation with 100% VG and 24mg nic

I've recently been playing around with some of the juices from velvetcloudvapor, as well as Bobbas bounty... just about any of the tobacco (and some of the non) from VCV and the Bobba's give me great TH's - These being my first VG only juices im not sure what this complaint of lack of TH is about tbh ;x

I'm telling you...a properly set up genesis atomizer with even as low as 6, will give you a good whack.
I use 12-18, mostly 18. If you have 100% VG in a plug and play device, the you will start un-earthing the problems that come with 100% VG.
