For you I would go with an 801 kit to start with. The 801 has the smoothest draw and the best flavor. Also, the 801 batteries are bigger than the standard 510 batteries so they give you a longer battery life between charges. I started with a 510, but was not getting much flavor out of my 510 so I bought an 801 and now I only use the 801 and the Joye 302( Joye version of the 801) atomizers. I even use them on my mods.

I just received my second 510 kit. (ego) I like the fact that you can use atomizers with seperate cartridges OR cartomizers which are semi-disposable atomizers with cartridges built in. You will find slightly different properties between those, and one may suit you more than the other. The biggest benefit of Ego, or Riva etc. would be battery life BLOWS AWAY the smaller 510's. I was a pack a day smoker, and I got tired of always charging batteries, both at work and home. Now I only charge at night when I get home, and I will never run out of juice.

Higher vg definitely is less TH, and same with lower nic. Try a 12mg 80% vg from vapor bomb. I find the fruit ones like raspberry or peach have very little TH (and mine are 80%pg with 24mg nic)

They also offer 5ml samples. So does FreedomSmokesUSA, Ms. T's Bakery. I am really enjoying those 2 fruit flavors. Order a few from each supplier. Its easy to blow thru your budget on one site when you see all the choices, but different juices have different properties so try many. I also like Tasty Vapor but they dont sell sample sizes.

I'm also new here and have decided to go with the NO. 7 brand, I have yet to receive it since I ordered it Monday. Has anyone heard anything good about this brand? What should I expect? In the meantime I have a lot of videos and catching up to do in the sticky section.

I personaly like the ego battery but tried the cone and got too much throught hit, i will stick with the 510 atty for as long as i keep vaping, tried the 901 and 801, when i first started, they where ok but nothing like the vapor and flavor from the 510

Well, lots of info and suggestions, just what I was hoping for. I thank everyone who put in a reply. Sadly, a battery for my car had to come first before I could order a new PV, but I think I know where I'm going to order it from and which one now.

Definitely a question of personal taste. Being of the possibly rare breed of vet vapers and still far more enjoying an automatic battery, I've found great combinations with 510, 808, 88 and (not sure of the model, maybe 4081) coupled with an excellent cartomizer. Again, I'm the kind of lazy guy that doesn't mind paying an extra couple of bucks for convenience and ease. Having said that, there are many manuals and larger batteries like the Ego, that when dripped with, pack an incredible punch with a ton of vapor.

Well, after much waffling on what to get and where to get it, I pulled the trigger.

Order has been placed for Joye 510 NoBox with PCC (whistletip carts) from cignot.com and a selection of juice from freedomsmokeusa.com (American Spirit, Clove Pre-Mixed and Coffee Espresso Pre-Mixed) not more than ten minutes ago.
