what a thrilling thread D, still waiting to get my Hydra and Prom.... Bashik has kept me up to date when i asked, and a one man show ususally makes the best gear; so waiting is my game :)

i guess i could start checking out the specs again... don't have a clue how to set up the V2 Prometey.
Is the setup on any of the youtubes?

Any leaking issues with the wick-down configuration on the LE? I set my variant 2 up that way, with no filler, and got some leaking. However, it might have been the result of over-filling. With the wick in place, I couldn't really tell how much juice to put in because I couldn't see the top of the airflow post. I use cotton and it's pretty thick/fluffy, and I have it set very close to the top of the airflow post. I just couldn't really see what I was doing. It was easily fixed by blowing through the airhole on the base, but I'm thinking wick down might be an at-home setup, as you originally suggested way back when. With a lot more of these hitting the market, I'm hoping some start to show up in the classys. I really don't want to get back on that super-long list.

No leaking with the L.E - EXCEPT - if I put too much juice in it. I did that once last night. I sometimes tend to over do things. You cant put juice in so it goes up over top of the inner middle airhole. If I do, I just turn it upside down with finger over dt hole, then flip it back over and take a couple quick drags.

You are correct - for drip only mode - the ends of wick should be down on the bottom plate. Same as the Gryphon.

While Im talking about L.E.

Hey D,
what particular silica wick is that?
What do you think about using XS 116 or 118...? its a silica weave tube that i am using for my drippers. I like it because it takes a lot of heat, holds juice pretty well, and easy to wrap a slice.
(i have never seen XC 116 nextel yet, which is a ceramic... btw)

Thats a 1mm wick. I tried a 2mm, 3mm and Nextel. The 1mm works the best IMO. But thats me. The 1mm he sends is like the Bulli wick or the 1mm Imeo use to sell through COV.

Cant comment on the XS 116 Uke. I can say the german wick you asked me about that RTD sells isnt a good wick I hate it. Its a loose weave, unravels and just a general PIA. Now RTD is a great vendor - just dont like this particular wick. Cant stand candle wick either. Thats even worse to my opinon. Even after boiling for 30 minutes. - God awful.

Some of you wanted the L.E. to be able to use filler like the regular Prometey. WELL - I took a piece of Bashik's filler (Juwel Poly pad from Prometey Var #2) -cut it in half lengthwise. Wrapped it around the airtube of the tank top. Be very careful as there is no lip on the airtube to keep it in place. Make sure its in there just right, fill with juice - and there you go - L.E. is now drip tank too.

So the L.E. Prometey can be used either way. I elect to use it with filler as I have the Gryphon to drip with and change out juices and I like the L.E. with more juice in it.

Juwel isnt sold in USA - I bought another filler from Petsmart - not very good.. Cant remember the name of it but was made by Fluval

Hi D i have some SERA from when i had Spheroid.... will that work?

Did you say how this compares to the Kayfun?

The SERA works okay, but I like Bashik's filler better. The SERA seems to fall apart faster. I think it's also a bit thinner. But it does work if you get the right amount in there. The Juwel seems to be easier to set up because you put just one wrap around the air tube, per Bashik's instructions. I seem to need more than one wrap of SERA, otherwise it overwicks.

I can't recall what dspin said about the Prometey vs. the Kayfun, but The Hill Giant says the Prometey is better. I've never had a Kayfun, but I've considered getting one. Dang, they are pricey, and if the Prometey is better, I probably won't bother.

OK guys, hope you can help me out. I'd like to order one of these, but how? Is the only way to order on Vaporwall? I tried to join that site a couple of months ago, but still have not been allowed in. I received this:

Thanks, The Management

I sent a follow-up email a week or so later, but nothing. How does one get in?

Clyde

Exact same predicament here.
If only Bashik would join this forum that is not as registering unfriendly as VW.

dunno.... i was registered before; like at least a year ago for the Line debut... shpaolin here on ecf, and Delboy on VW are the admins i guess.
I had trouble retrieving my password - it was a catch22 type of thing really...but somehow i think Dspin helped getting me back on. There seems to be a lot of Art of Exhale pieces around, but its taking a long time to get product for me; its been a month since paying.
I'm not complaining, because i got so much stuff to play with... but hope to see some Bashik products in my P.O.B soon.
Hydra v2
Prometey v2
I trust Bashik though... he takes his stuff personally.

A quick acknowledgement and thanks to dspin who helped (actually made it happen) me get into the emerald club.
Without him landing a hand i would have probably died of natural causes before being granted entrance into the vaping shoppers nirvana a.k.a. vaporwall.
I am 48 and might live a few more years so that would've been slow and agonizing.
Thank you dspin.:)
