I think it's funny that everyone is giving advice on what to adjust the pg/vg ratio to without knowing the answer to this question. lolWhat were the pg/vg percentages with your previous liquids?

I'm not sure what they were they were the £1 ones from a pound shop in ukWhat were the pg/vg percentages with your previous liquids?
Reading through the thread, I was thinking the same thing.I think it's funny that everyone is giving advice on what to adjust the pg/vg ratio to without knowing the answer to this question. lolHeck, he might have been doing 100% pg and the vg is the problem for all that we know... or it could simply be the new flavoring.
I use 6mgI agree. Myself, I don't like more than 35 % PG (I can tolerate it but slightly bothers my throat) What nic level are you using?
Very important to sip water while vaping!
Maybe I'm vaping to much could this be a cause for it?Reading through the thread, I was thinking the same thing.
But since you don't know what's changed, I'll say this: Yes, higher pg affects a lot of people, including me. More so when I first started - I can tolerate some now, but early on, I switched to all vg. My sensitivity to pg wasn't coughing, though- it made my entire mouth feel like it does when you you burn your tongue or roof of your mouth with hot food.
But ever since I started, if I overdo vaping, I get something similar to what you're describing. A little, throat clearing cough- not productive, but still there. And it affects my voice, so I have to constantly clear my throat to talk. For me, I've always vaped similar to smoking- a little over 200 mtl hits per day, which is about 10 puffs per cig, times 20 cigs per day. If I go significantly over that, I still get the throat clearing issue.
That may not help, but it's hard to say what's causing this for you without really knowing all that's changed.

I'm happy with my set up I'm not one for big clouds I'm hoping to stop vaping when I've worked down to 0mg juice. It wouldn't be my first guess, but are you vaping more than you used to? Actually, I'd start by wondering if you're just coming down with a cold. If not, I agree that sensitivity to either the PG or one of the flavourings in your new juice is a likely culprit.
How do you like your setup? As others have mentioned, most of us would consider it a bit dated. Then again, if you're happy and it's keeping you off cigarettes, it's doing all it needs to.
I'm trying one called dr frost cherry ice its 50/50 I will see how I go with this.It wouldn't be my first guess, but are you vaping more than you used to? Everything is a pound this is why its called pound land the vape I got from there was called 88 vape I seemed to be ok with it.What’s a pound shop? Is this a store selling brand name e-juice, or one selling its own concoction?
Lots of good advice given. You are now challenged with employing a process of elimination. I would suggest writing down everything that has changed since you were able to vape cough free. This includes hardware – wire, wick, last time you cleaned your atomizer etc. Changes in juice - and keep in mind that similar flavour profiles can have different ingredients. Even a change in frequency in which you vape, which does not necessarily mean quantity. Chain vaping 2ml of juice in 10 mins could be the culprit vs casually vaping 2ml over the course of a day. By writing everything down you can begin to eliminate common factors and hopefully end up with the culprit.

Well, since you didn't mention that you were vaping more, but only the juice had changed, I kind of doubt it.Maybe I'm vaping to much could this be a cause for it?
yes we have loads of pound shops in uk they sell allsorts of stuff.Fair enough. I’ve heard of grocers and bargain centers being referred to as pound shops, but never a vape shop.
Thanks for your help.Hope you figure this out - that feeling like you have to cough is annoying. As with UncleJunkle I get that tickle when I put too much flavor in my recipes. Some flavors are worse than others. And, welcome to ECF.
