Hi, I was wondering if anyone uses these and if they can tell me anything about them?

I'm hoping to get a nice case for mine that has a charger in it or something, but I'm not sure if it would be compatible. I posted pictures here, but it seems no one had heard of it.

It looks similar to the 501, but the threads are reversed (cart is male on the 501, atomizer/battery is female)

the website is here: TIME CIGARETTES - Buy your electronic cigarette online

but it doesn't have much information.

OK,I'll bite.

Overpriced,waaaaay overpriced.

Those are worth maybe $15 tops.

Sorry.

In the futur,shop here: www.CANVAPE.com

And welcome to ECF :)

No worries, I realized that they were way over priced soon after the snake oil sales man sold us while we (my partner and i) were at the ex in Toronto. Doesn't bug me too much as it introduced me to this whole world of vaping.

I'm curious about these things though, they look so similar to the 510/boge one that i wonder if its the same thing with Time stamped on the side.

An 808 connection isn't reversed like that is it ? Either way, I agree with what people said. I have never heard of them, but they're obviously based in Toronto selling things from China for 5-10 times the mark up. I've seen the exact same thing dealextreme has online for $5 for $50 in a variety store here.

Every "cheap" e-cigarette is based on usually an 808 or 510 connection, but the quality is far lower.

Consider it a learning experience and if you like the general idea and it helps you smoke less, even for a few hours or a day or two then better models will do A LOT more for you. But I would not suggest spending any more money on that set up. Consider getting into a nicer 510 or 808 device ( if you want the cigarette style ). I bought a few $5-10 cigarettes from dealextreme, stopped smoking a tiny bit for a few days and then bought a 510 kit from urbanvapour. If I were starting again and set on the cigarette size. I'd still suggest the 510 - replacing the atomizer with some cartomizers, even though charging cases that hold an assembled cigarette are elusive or I'd be curious about the Redds which comes with a case. If you get the 510 and want the default Joyetech charging case, I could give you the one I have .. I hate it because it doesn't hold an assembled cigarette, but it works. :p

Sorry - this is way more information than you asked for. :)

Here's some links to the mentioned things;

510 Starter Kit;
Joyetech 510 T

The charging case I use;

The Redd's Kit with charging case;

Thanks for all the help everyone :)

Luckily I did get a "deal" on the kit, we got it for 70 instead of 150, and the math worked out to cheaper than cigarettes anyway. So no loss really, just wish I hadn't bought all those extra carts now. I'll burn through those and then move on to... maybe that 510 or the Redds (that case is really nice, btw)

My view on the whole thing:
There's a LOT of e-cigs on the market these days. Not like "Oh I ate a lot of steak and lobster because I can now that I don't smoke" a lot. I mean, "It's only wafer thin." a lot.

My advice to anyone starting out, if you see something in a shop, don't buy it right away. Go home, check out their site and try to find another vendor that sells them. If you find one, do they sell any other brands? If not, don't bother. Reputable vendors will carry more than just one house brand.

what strikes me as odd is how some are tying to laugh at the error the Op made, yet when first switching in the sea of information there who really had the light bulb go off and say "hey man...there is ECF out there, i need to go check that out and see what the hip system is to buy, while i'm at it i will check the internet yellow pages to see what Canadian vendors there are"

I started out with a gaff on the 808's, but in a few short months i worked my way up to things that worked for me....

that being said and the Op does still want to try the 808's then you could get the carts (top's) here from Vapor geek or for having them pre filled From Vaporus (they also do COD), why not try a clearomizer on them Clearomizer-C (they look like star dust's) and before someone says i am wrong with that, this is pulled from the web site

The the next gen in clearomizer tech, it is the fusion of the Vivi Nova and the stardust. Same shape and form as the stardust, but everything is now removable, tube, tip, atomizer head. the inside connector is a 510 outside connection is ether ego/510 or vgo/808 One of the best clearomizer we have ever tried, V3 quality, vapes like a champ comes in 2.4ohm LR addition atomizer heads can be purchased at resistances of 1.8ohm, 2.4ohm or 2.8 ohm, extra drip tips can also be purchased

Lastlly: If you are going to use Vapor Geek there is a a 5% on time use coupon code, however there is a coupon code for Vaporus that will get you 10% off

I'm sorry if I came off as laughing, no ill-will meant in my post here. I still <3 my bloog 808/cartos, they outperform some of the other, more expensive options I've tried even AFTER researching (yea I'm looking at you smoketek DCT...). Honestly, for a night out and about an 808 with a PCC/spare carto or two can't be beat.

The most (MOST!) important thing to remember: If you aren't smoking, it's working.

Glassbox,

If your deciding between the REDDS and a Joytech 510 Kit, got with the REDDS.
They use the same connectors as what you have(from waht i can see), and so the carts can be swapped.

No point in having two separate kits that aren't compatible with each other...

But that is just my opinion, and i think the REDDS work better than a 510 (i've used both)

Lol, my skins a little thicker than that, no worries guys.

Thanks for all the help everyone, I decided to order the Redds and grabbed a bunch of juice from canadaejuice just for the hell of it.

Now the waiting game begins...

On a side note, I found these hunting around - knock off Redds?
