How about a GP Paps? They're Paps X's have, IMO, one of the best switches ever made......and the V3 Paps switch is wonderful as well. Nice short throw, very smooth action.....both the X and the V3 have that elegant look to them that you desire, and the quality is superb....you really can't go wrong either way! :)

Well, Vapourart hosts "vapourdays" every so often where they offer their mods for sale....check the site often to see when the next one will be....Or, you could try Domo Vapor at www.domovaporco.com ......They are the US reseller for GP products and offer GP mods for sale fairly regularly.... Also, you may be able to snag one on the classies..

EDIT: Just saw that you're not a verified member....get verified and you'll have access to the classifieds....

What makes the Nanos switch so different and easy to use?

The switch on the Nanos uses six small magnets to provide both the spring action and the locking action. You only have to rotate the button 7mm to lock or unlock. You can just "flick" it with your little finger while holding it in your hand to lock or unlock. The entire switch is less than 8mm tall, with all but 3mm inside the battery tube. It has a very short throw.
The mod is very short, being only 53mm long in 18350 mode. It is 83mm long in 18650 mode. With the six small magnets being glued in, when you unscrew the bottom contact screw the switch separates into only two pieces.

Sorry to stray off topic, but does anybody happen to know of a mech mod with a non conducting middle segment/tube so that the top and bottom and electrically insulated (the switch would be on the insulating section).

?

Mechs use the body as the negative connection.
A non-conductive body or middle segment would render a mech non-functional.

Yes; so the switch would be on the non conductive part connecting the two parts.
The idea is a side switch that gives the simplicity of a bottom switch;;

anyways I should raise this in a separate thread in ecigtechnical; sorry for hijacking, tanner.
