IKV stuff rocked MY world too and I also have quite a bit of his kartos AND atomizers in a drawer nearby.

I much preferred Ikenvape cartos. I'd use SMOKtech if IKV were not available. I hated Boges; their polyfill was packed too tightly.
Ikenvape cartos were highly sought after, and often were out of stock. You could sign up for an e-mail alert when they came back into stock, and everyone who used IKV cartos would message all their friends, "Ikenvape cartos are in stock!". They'd all be gone within a few days time if you didn't jump.
Rumor had it that Ikenvape commissioned Boge to make his cartos to his higher specification standards: higher grade polyfill, higher grade coils, larger laser-drilled holes, etc.
Anyone use IBTanked cartotanks?

That's true! I could never get many Ikenvape and they were great but the original Boges were good, then something changed and they did not last and quite a few duds. I remember people looking for originals.
We do what we can. If you make a thread like this in eight years someone is going to say, "What? You guys used to make your own coils?"

I pull my D'win out of the basket at times, just to take a stroll down mem'ry lane. I'm glad I'm still a low wattage vapor so the Darwin's 12.7 watts max still works for me and my usual 9 watts!

I think it was Valley View vapes, I loved them
It was High Desert that made the decorative Pyrex hand blown tanks.
I ended up bagging up all my carto stuff a couple of years back, and now I can't even tell which are which. Some IKV, some Boge, some big, some small. Adapters, one of those KirFanis punches, and even some big weiner cartos still.
Kept a few IBT tanks, along with a couple of Big Daddy ones, and some other cheapies that we FT'd ages ago.
I wonder if I'll ever need them. I sure as heck hope not.

I prefered the kanger horizontal coil cartos,most said they had a funny taste but i never noticed it
after the coil was shot,ii'd pull the stuffing and use the remains as an old style 510 atty
