Tesla would have liked the technology of today. We'd probably have wireless charging at a distance everywhere we go.

I've seen those around online. Fred's Outlet store had one when I was in there the other day. Our kitchen has multi-port wallwarts and our family room has a USB cable next to each of our easy chairs in front of the TV. Our vehicles have USB charging ports. It's a USB world these days.

Next up ... wireless charging everywhere.

To be honest sacrificing a power outlet by adding two usb ports is not that good of an idea imo. You can get a nice multiplug that has usb ports if you don't have enough cell phone chargers.

I agree, but it depends on the room. I specified outlets every four feet along our Kitchen counters when we built, so changing out an outlet from 2 110vac to one 110vac and a USB port isn't a bad idea at all. As I speak, there are two 4 port USB adapters plugged into a couple of corner outlets along the kitchen counter. When you do that you sometimes lose both outlets. My fix was to plug in a six outlet adapter and plug in the other chargers and adapter into that for a charging station. All our breakers are 20A, with GFA's where there's water nearby.
