I respect everything said here.
That being said I have not had much luck with any of the Protank versions. I prefer the Vapeonly Bcc, and the Iclear 30s.I vape mostly tobacco flavors, and when I have a choice 70PG/30VG.
These are personal choices I make based on what little experience I have( Just short of 2 years). I started with a store bought EGO and a clearomizer, and vaped my way to the "bigger and better" stuff. Right now I'm vaping HHV's Dark horse in an Iclear 30s, with my Kicked Silver bullet and loving it. Tomorrow I may do some of Pink Spot's swagger in an IBtanked using a Provari. I've tried RBAs and RDAs. They don't work well for me because of my eyesight and the fact that my fingers turn to toes when rebuilding. I don't post much because I don't have much to offer in the way of knowledge or experience, but I understand people offering help when one asks for it in this forum. I myself have been helped by all the threads and comments.
But bear in mind that vaping although rewarding and exciting is still a very new industry, therefore those of us that vape must by the very novelty of this practice be all somewhat newbies, even the manufacturers and ejuice vendors out there, would have what....5 years experience?
Remember that Kanger started the BCC revolution, that at least we can give them.
thanks for letting me share

Beside you
I tested my protank 2 coils with nano coil + 1mm ekowool(Top off with 2mm filler wicks), normal coil with 2mm as wick and 1mm as filler, nano with cottonwool as wick and filler works the best for me..

Somehow, my mixing of flavours always run off everytime even thou i use the same proportion..Wana give iclear30s a go but not available yet with my favourite supplier.

Could it be possible that the op is just frustrated and is tired of fiddling and just wants a no frills vape.

Personally, I never met a clearo I liked. I remember When the first stardust came out and everybody just loved them. A week later everybody was ranting about the leaks, darkening ejuice, etc. Every atty out there is a work in progress. And you are the tester.

When they just come out they are the latest and greatest thing. The next day all the problems surface. Maybe you should try something different and old school Like a carto tank. You can buy 4 of them for the price of a protank. That way you will have something cheap and reliable to vape and keep you relaxed while you fiddle with your protank.:)

I hate the protank 2 so much and have had to put up with it for 3 weeks waiting for an iclear30b order after i dropped my iclear30 too many times. It’s not only that it taste like crap (11 heads changes) but also that it was so dirty when I first got it.

What they don't care about hygiene with an ecig product. Never again buying any kanger products.

The iclear30 so far is the best for me, haven’t tried the S but just got the B and I’m having problems with that, trying to get my post count up to reply in the proper thread. But at least it's clean!

I have vaped on Kanger T3s ever since I started vaping. I got a Protank 2 a couple of months ago. The first thing I did was, disassemble it and see if there is any difference between the base of T3 and Protank .. the same amount of space, not much of a difference at all. I was hoping that the Protanks would have a little extra space for a bigger coil but eh .. nothing different. So, it is just there in my cabinet doing nothing .. I'm happy with my Fogger V2 and Rocket RBA :)

2.5 months and aside from maintenance, mine are mostly fiddle-free.

Sorry for defending something that works for me in the face of an unjust and biased diatribe. ;)

There you go again, all, "I know what works best for me" and stuff. As if you know what is best for you...

Every time someone complains about the protank ll people swoop in and offer up all the quick fixes and analogies to why it doesn't work properly. Well...you shouldn't have to take something out of the box and do anything except start using it. First thing is I don't want to keep my protank "topped off" to make it work properly because I may not want to vape another tank of that particular flavor. So I could pour the old flavor back into the bottle right...No, because it's burned up like any and every juice I put in it whether it's clear or dark or high pg or low pg. I've had 2 protanks for almost 4 months and there's no fixing these things. They're gonna gurgle they're gonna leak on your battery they're gonna burn up your juice they gonna burn thru your coils and they're gonna work great for the first vape of the day after you dry your battery replace your coil and put new juice in them! I put the top off of one of my wifes evods on to my joy tech ego (where my protank used to be) and it works great been using the same coil for a week and it hasn't even started to blacken the wick and the battery last 3 days. I was about to give up on ecigs because though the evod worked ok I could drain the battery in no time but I have found the perfect combination by swapping the heads.

HA!
People offer suggestions from things they found that helped them adapt to the tank. For things that Can be off from production on a single Unit(NOT THE LINE) and to assist in hopes of Helping Others.

Fact is, some of us NEVER experience issues. I have and use ProTanks, ProtankII, ProTankII-mini, T3, T3-mini,MT3's and Evods ant the simple FACT is all I Ever have to do is Fill, Vape and occasionally clean.
No Fuss
No Muss
No keep it over 1/2 full - I Vape mine DRY - Bone DRY
No Burping the tank

User error and Human interface are to 2 biggest issues with Bottom Coil Clearomizers.

Not to worry. Manufacturers pay attention and keep updating with new devices with different specs in an attempt to reduce the interface issues.

What does not work for you simply means you need to find something different. Has little to do with weather it is or is not any good.

User error and Human interface are to 2 biggest issues with Bottom Coil Clearomizers.

That and also, how we setup clearomizers/cartos/coils on RBA/RDA .. In the beginning, I hated Fogger V2 for a couple of reasons. They used to flood the fire chamber a lot. But then I had to remove the screw on top of the tank and instead used a clear tape and punched a small hole so that little air went into the tank. I've fine tuned fogger so much that it does what I want it to do.

We all have to experiment with our devices for that perfect vape. In my book, everything can be worked out provided we give enough time to reading, watching and experimenting.

I had issues with my first stock coil on a PT2, and the second...For some reason just a burnt taste and endless flooding.

I just read this thread and cleaned and reassembled using said coils (both barely used really).

Vaping well - much to my amazement. I'm getting a nice vape

I think I assembled them incorrectly, or slightly wrong, one or the other. A good clean and reassemble has really made a difference.

Same juice, too

Weird.

On the advise of a friend we got 2 of the protank 3s and they have been nothing but problems. The taste is great when it works right but.... it leaks, no matter what we do the stinking thing leaks, we burn through a coil every 2 days if I use it exclusively. I just don't think it is worth the time I put into it, taking it apart, cleaning and reassembling 2-3 times a day to stop the leaks so short term.

I like the evod for the most part, just seems like the tank could have been bigger
