Right now I'm running ego twist. Eyeballing a provari for Christmas. Will probably order it in 2-3 weeks. 4ml Pyrex tank

It's been awhile since I've used any ikenvape cartos/attys, but the ones I have used were awesome. I've used the 801 fusion carto's and I was very impressed by them, but I've been using the smoktech DCT system for over 6 months and love it ( I like having pre-punched cartos). The 801 fusions should work well with your ego, but I guess you know, you'll need an adaptor.

Can't go wrong with the provari (in my opinion). I've had mine for 2 years now and wouldn't use anything else. good luck

p.s. I'm headed from the Philly area to Sylva/Cullowhee tom. morning to visit family over the thanksgiving holiday.

Have a safe trip. I'm in Asheville so I'm a few hours outside of that area. Will be on Chatuga Lake all day Saturday fishing. That's a little closer to that area.

I switched from boges in tanks to vivi novas a couple months ago. I'm now finding myself switching back. I've been rebuilding my heads with different cotton materials and sometimes they work awesome and sometimes they don't. The boges work consistently all the time. It gets frustrating wrapping a coil only to get an E1 error or it works great for a few minutes then the error shows. too easy to short out. I'm not done with them by no means... but I'm also not done with cartos in tanks like I thought I might be. I've just been too lazy lately to mess with recoiling.

Sometimes we travel full circle to find our satisfaction. I was just fine with my carto/tanks but jumped on the vvn wagon. Rebuilt coils, different wicks, etc. Just never got the satisfaction or consistent performance that a good carto/tank setup gives me. I realize alot of folks swear by them and that's fine, it's all individual preference.

Now my phoenix rba is a totally different story. After re-wicking with a vertical coil, I love it. Great flavor, vapor and th. I just get weary of refilling it so I use it mainly for taste testing or those times when I just get in the mood to really fog up the room.

As for cartos, I've used ikenvapes 510 platinums and 801 fusions, smoktech 1.7Ω resurrectors and boge 2 and 3Ω. If they wick, give good flavor and don't leak, I'm happy.

I have been cartotanking pretty much exclussively for a few months now. I tried some viv nova clones (the Smoktech Titan) for a couple of weeks, but noticed their flavor production suffered compared to my cartotanks when side by side. I still use a couple just because, but my preference is the cartotank's flavor over the Titan's easy of use/vapor production.

I've written an article concerning my experiences of dual coil cartos vs single coils.
I've also written about why I prefer pre-drilled cartomizers for tanks over punching my own.
I have compiled a useful list of vendors with direct links that sell pre-punched cartos.
They are all in my blog entries under my user name and avatar.
