Titanium coil advice

I received a roll of titanium wire 24awg today.

Does anyone mind sharing any tips on using titanium. I believe it must be used in TC mode due to the oxides. Is that correct? What other things should I be taking notice of? And what builds do you think would be ideal for a rda and rta assuming that it suits both attys.

A variety of things, make my own ka1 and ss316l coils, mods- hohm-wrecker-g2, hohm-slice, rx2/3, alien 220, noisy cricket 2-25. Rda's goon, tsunami 24, CLT iv, desire mad dog. RDTA iJoy combo. RTA troll RTA, Petri, OBS engine, ammit

Pretend it's SS and add a wrap or two.
If you are comfortable with SS in TC, Ti should present few new challenges.
If your Ti is springy..wrap a bit smaller (target 2.5mm- wrap on a 2mm mandrel)
Said and done.. I MUCH prefer SS.

I can't remember if it was ti , I should not anneal/pre burn for hotspots etc before wicking. Is that correct? Isn't there Health concerns at higher temperatures hence why you must always use TC.

I always wanted to try. I'm a big SS fan and also kanthal and nichrome80. Very keen to do a comparison, I've seen a lot of forum members swear by it, this will once and for all see if I can trust them.

I suggest not pre-burning/annealing. If you want to straighten it mechanically for an easier coil; do so.
I would wrap and, in TC mode, do the pulses and strums.
IMO, A spaced coil, mounted evenly, shouldn't need much extra love to perform well.

Overall, I prefer not to overheat any wire type, but, if I do, I never inhale the fumes/smoke/vapour.

ETA: The wire can be wiped down with ISO and a vaper towel to clean it before use. Clean wire, clean hands...good start.

Good idea do the pulsing in TC mode. That's why your the expert.
