Did the cancellation email include an order number? Is it the same number you got when you paid? Maybe the correct order got canceled, but the wrong person was notified?

Yes its the same Order Number.

Non matching card information, I found was a strange thing seeing they already deducted the money from my card/account.
Why after having my money nearly 3 weeks, would they then come up with this, with no correspondence, no questions email stating there maybe an issue. No communication allowing the customer to confirm or check the details, just cancel an order. I am fairly disappointed with what has transpired.
Edit: Sorry....... Thank you Rojo for your input. With no one seeming to want to communicate with me, thanks for your input. Hopefully David will at some point see this as well as my emails and we can sought this out......Hopefully, as you can tell by my username, Im a bit of an optimist ;-)
